I think everyone knows about the problem with the large volume of sealant and the dirty oil pan. We decided to apply new sealant and design a new oil pan. We cleaned, washed, and scanned everything. It didn’t work out cleanly... the oil dripped endlessly.

It’s been a while, nothing’s happened, although a lot is happening. Thank you @edward_pankratov for providing the car 🤝. We scanned, designed, welded... tried it on👌. Reinforced mount for the front control arm bushing. Installation took about 20 minutes. Fits 1st and 2nd generation Subaru and Toyota! Everyone is happy and satisfied.

My cat’s help was invaluable. I was able to design a body brace (front arms and subframe) and welding equipment.

In general, a very long story with a simple fender brace for legacy BC-BF 89-94 years of production. It all started in late December with a request from Nico from Canada @nico_subaru !! There was an assumption that it should fit from the GC Impreza, but this turned out to be not quite true, the difference was significant ... I managed to find a part of the body (the body has seen a lot in this world 😮‍💨) in February they began to make a new kit for his legacy ... and in mid-March there was an installation in Canada .... but a small problem ... the turn signal did not fit in its place ... Nico suggested replacing the wire connector from Honda. It was a good solution, but probably not everyone would want to do this .... Nico was pleased with the result, but we needed to change the design a little so that the installation would not cause problems. and the story continues) but already in another country Kazakhstan ))

На истину в последней инстанции не претендую, а делюсь своим субъективным мнением.
⠀
Во время сборки нашего проекта и, размышлениях насчет их установки, положение дел было таково: несомненными плюсами их является ВРОДЕ КАК улучшение управляемости автомобилем, минусами - сохранность автомобиля после ДТП.

Чтобы вы понимали о чем речь во втором случае, объясню: например, мы устанавливаем распорку задней панели, а какой-то плохой человек «приезжает» нам туда же, что происходит при наличии распорки? Оба задних крыла (относительно) синхронно складываются, утягивая за собой все что только возможно. Так же произойдет и при боковом ударе в заднюю часть - «утянет» оба крыла. В случае ее отсутствия - второе либо пострадает незначительно, либо же «устоит». Тоже самое касается и усилителя заднего бампера, стоящего на европейских форях (мы, кстати, по этим причинам от него отказались).

Поэтому, когда перед нами встал вопрос ставить ли - размышлять пришлось долго. Так автомобиль изначально был после ДТП и пострадала передняя часть, в том числе лонжероны - мы решили (для усиления проведенной нами работы) под передние крылья их все же установить. Выбор свой, остановили на распорках от Kein, которые ранее были окрашены производителем в нужный нам цвет. Встали по стоковым посадочным местам, какие-либо дополнительные отверстия не понадобились.

Так же приобрели (все же) распорку задней панели - здесь так же не требовались какие-то переделки.
⠀
Спустя полгода эксплуатации стало очевидно, что желаемой «сбитости» автомобиля недостаточно и мы начали рассматривать дополнительные усиления.
⠀
В связи с тем, что лишь у Kein широкий выбор необходимого - придумывать «велосипед» не стали и приобрели:
⠀
*распорку заднего редуктора;
*усилители задней балки;
*х-распорку задних стаканов;
*задние боковые усилители пола;
*дополнительные болты задней балки;
⠀
Что в итоге мы имеем?
⠀
Проклятия от механиков, которым (при необходимости) нужно все это снимать / ставить обратно и ощутимую разницу в управляемости.

Стоит ли тратиться на них? Определенно. Они, объективно, стоят своих денег. by @fkeinfab
