Just a guy, sharing his love of creating art and all things Disney! (Pencil, Colored Pencil, Acrylic Paint, Chalk... and a bunch of other stuff ✏️🎨)

POSTS STORIES REELS

“It All Started With A Mouse.” I thought it would be a good idea to share just the 3 finished products of my tribute to Mickey Mouse acrylic painting series. (P.s. can you find the Hidden Mickey in each painting?)

“Dream the Impossible”- inspired by Mickey’s iconic role in the 1940’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice sequence in the film, Fantasia.

“Be A Little Brave”- inspired by 1938’s The Brave Little Tailor Mickey theatrical short

“Stay Kind and Humble”- inspired by the Mickey’s Christmas Carol featurette which premiered in 1983.

@bret_iwan how’d I do?!?😁 by @fl_pencilnpaint

Here’s an update on the daily Disney drawings! Every day, 20 minutes or less, a new Disney character, for 160 days. It’s not about perfect drawings, it’s just a rough sketch in a dedicated time to draw every day. Not always super pleased with how they come out, but this is about the journey not the product for me. 60 days in and here’s some new favorites so far. You can see all the ones I’ve done in my highlights. Thanks to everyone who’s been supportive of my little project!!! #disney #disneyanimation #disneyart #disneydrawings #mickeymouse by @fl_pencilnpaint

Last Christmas I was gifted a 160 page Disney journal. It was a thoughtful gift, but I’m not really the journaling type. So on April 8th I decided to use it for a different kind of journaling. Every day, 20 minutes or less, a new Disney character, for 160 days. It’s not about perfect drawings, it’s just a rough sketch in a dedicated time to draw every day. Not always super pleased with how they come out, but this is about the journey not the product for me. 32 days in and here’s some favorites so far. You can see all the ones I’ve done so far in my highlights. Thanks to everyone who’s been supportive of my little project!!! #disney #disneyanimation #disneyart #disneydrawings #mickeymouse by @fl_pencilnpaint
