🩺 National Gay Men’s HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Today, we recognize the impact HIV/AIDS has had on gay and bisexual men and honor the lives and stories that have shaped the fight against HIV.

Awareness, testing, treatment, and access to affirming healthcare all play a role in creating healthier communities. Most importantly, we can help end the stigma by replacing fear and misinformation with compassion, education, and support.

Together, we can work toward a future where HIV is met with understanding—not stigma. ❤️

🌈 Thank You, Zane! 🌈

Last night marked Zane’s final night as President of Flagstaff Pride—and the close of an extraordinary chapter defined by 20 years of service, leadership and love for our community.

Zane’s impact can be seen in every part of the Pride we know today. Under his leadership, our stages became more inclusive, with intentional space created for BIPOC voices and performers. We welcomed the First Lady, celebrated our first female Indigenous headliner and opened our festival to Black and Indigenous vendors at no cost so they could share their businesses, art, culture and goods with our community.

And during some of our community’s most challenging years, Zane helped make one of our most important commitments possible: keeping Flagstaff Pride FREE and accessible to everyone.

Behind every milestone were countless meetings, phone calls, late nights, missed weekends and personal sacrifices. Zane gave so much of himself to this organization—not for recognition, but because he believed deeply in our community and in what Pride could become.

Zane, thank you for your vision, your courage and the heart you brought to this work. Thank you for helping Flagstaff Pride grow into something bigger, stronger and more inclusive than we once imagined. Most of all, thank you for reminding us that Pride belongs to everyone.

Although your time as President has come to an end, your legacy will remain part of Flagstaff Pride for generations to come.

Twenty years of leadership.
Twenty years of service.
Twenty years of memories.

Flagstaff Pride is heartbroken by the tragic violence in Tucson. 💔 Our deepest condolences are with the loved ones of those who lost their lives and everyone affected by this horrific act.

Every 2SLGBTQIA+ person deserves to feel safe, valued, and free to gather in community without fear. We stand in solidarity with our Tucson neighbors and our entire 2SLGBTQIA+ community as we remain united against hate and violence in all its forms.

Today, we honor the bravery, skill, and legacy of the Navajo Code Talkers — the Diné warriors whose unbreakable code 📡🔒 played a vital role in securing victory during World War II 🌍⚔️. Their language 🗣️, culture 🪶, and courage 💪🏽 not only protected our freedoms but continue to inspire generations 🌟.
