NEW VLOG IS UP!!!

Day 2 in Ubud, Bali was all about slowing down, nourishing my body, and discovering local flavors. 🌿🇮🇩

Here's how I spent the day:

Just a quick throwback from my postponed trip to Laos last February.

Looking back, I realized I used to get irritated by the smallest inconveniences. I thought I was just impatient, but the truth was, I was constantly chasing the next destination. I was moving from one country to another so quickly that I forgot to slow down and truly experience the moments. I spent so much of my energy on schedules, expectations, and everyone else.

This last trip felt different.

Things didn’t go exactly as planned. There were delays, unexpected changes, and moments that tested my patience. But instead of resisting them, I learned to surrender. I focused on what I could control and let go of what I couldn’t.

For the first time in a long time, I handled everything on my own, with grace.

So here’s a little reminder to myself: I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Growth isn’t just be about collecting passport stamps. Sometimes, it’s learning to find peace even when the journey doesn’t go according to plan.

And somehow, that’s where my heart feels the happiest. ✨

A little throwback to my trip to Iloilo a year ago. ✨

It’s one of those places I still think about today.

In fact, it made me say… “I could actually live here.”

Not because it’s perfect.

But because it made me feel at peace.

Here’s why…

As a woman, I felt genuinely safe.

That kind of peace is something you never take for granted.

The city is walkable.

And it embraces sustainable living.

Getting around felt easy and enjoyable.

And let’s talk about the food…

Every meal was memorable.

But what stayed with me the most…

Were the warm and welcoming locals who made us feel at home.

This trip also awakened a softer side of us. We bought ourselves flowers.

We prayed.

We surrendered the things we couldn’t control.

Sometimes, the best journeys don’t just take you to a new destination. They bring you back to yourself. 🌸✨

Another week, another tennis day, still showing up, still learning, still improving.

It’s easy to doubt yourself when you are just starting, but I choose to keep going anyway. Watching my friends step into the sport too reminds me that growth is contagious.

This is what trying really does, it builds confidence quietly. You do not need instant perfection, just consistency. You will figure out what you love and what you do not, but at least you are not staying stuck in “what if.”

My first day in Ubud, Bali felt even more special as it coincided with Kuningan celebration 🌺✨a meaningful Balinese holiday that added so much life, color, and culture to the streets.

From landing in Bali, exploring the neighborhood, strolling through Ubud Art Market, and ending the day with good food, everything felt more significant with the festive atmosphere.
