Two things that have been on my mind lately.

If you ever think the Savior, Jesus Christ, is unaware of you, it’s not true. For you are on the palms of His hands, constantly in front of Him. Those marks were made FOR YOU. He suffered, died, and rose again FOR YOU. He knows you. He loves you. And He is always there for you.

I spent much of today doing one thing my mom always loved. Ballet. 🩰

She danced when she was little (first picture) and was my introduction to ballet from a very young age (second picture… you can see her in the background 🥰).

She took me to classes, bought me my first pair of pointe shoes and taught me how to do my own bun. I’m grateful every day for her support and willingness to help me grow in my love for ballet since I was 5.

I love and miss you, Mommy. I know you’re still here supporting me every single day and I hope you’re still watching through the windows of the studio while I am in class (because that’s something you loved to do). ❤️🩰

26 Things for 2026

Seventh year doing something creative for the new year (first year was 2020). Usually I just write single words in my word cloud but as 2025 came to a close I kept having specific phrases come to mind. Some are repeats from years past and others are things I’d like to do this year. It’s amazing to look back and see how the words change as life continues to move and shift.

Went outside in the backyard for a few minutes and this little guy was just pecking away at one of our trees. We’ve had woodpeckers frequent our yard for years now but I was finally able to grab my camera and take a photo of him in the tree today!

The second photo is just a bonus action shot I captured. 😆

❤️🩰 Happy World Ballet Day! 🩰❤️

My Mom always knew she needed to put me in ballet when I was a small child. She always used to say, “When I took you to ballet, I didn’t know it would take over your life.” 😆

But here we are! 31 years later and still going strong with @balletcenterutahinc 🩷

I’m so grateful for the influence ballet has had on my life, the lifetime friendships I have made and all of the life lessons I have learned over the last three decades. I hope I can continue dancing for many more years to come!
