I feel this is one of those moments when the artist is transported to liminal space of being human and God, becomes Daiva.

Taking a photo is one of the most rudimentary experience in Theyyam, it would be a pity if it is not felt.

I don't know what makes me lift the camera in a particular moment, but I'm glad it is there and feeding my soul.

This was one of those moments. The tenderness, the innocence, the pure joy as the women went about their thing. A language barrier between @5tattvaliving and kaki, a joyous laugh that dissolved it, pure energy. Who needs words then?

Glad I could take such photos so that I can weave my own stories around them in my head as I feel.

Things I don't post, but found in my remaining photos, 2021.

Two of the many moments I look back and think, what a stupid thing to do. Not saying I have stopped it. But I think it is safe to share now.

From first hike of life being Annapoorna Circuit severely under dressed with a 10 deg Decathalon jacket, crossing Thorong La at 5410m in a blinding snow storm, oh! yes walking on snow for the first time. Also running from Tilocho Base camp to Siri Kharka in under 2 hrs, why ? Don't ask, paid the price.
To be in Ladakh for the first time and trying to "climb" a mountain just to reach 5000m from 3650m just because it sounded cool in my head & I could see it was across the valley a random solid mass of earth reaching the skies. Without thinking of route, rope or responsiblity, covering straight ~1200m of elevation, one direction and taking selfies ofcourse. Couldn't find my way down, went across a few ridges, to slide down from one of the moraines hoping & trying not to disturb stones. Only sensible decision of the day being turning around in time. Good memories though.

Will I do it again? Maybe in some other form.

I'm not in mountains, yet.
In no particular order, just a small glimpse of nomad infront of the lense on a higher ground, over the past few years.
Maybe a little sadness of being stupid and loosing most of the work.

Something that triggered the nomad inside, may it does the same to you.
