Security almost kicked us out when filming this…

The concept:
Two soldiers with separate agendas clash in this cyberpunk fight scene. One, trying to dismantle a corrupt government by destroying critical infrastructure, the other, a rookie cop having one chance to stop him.

The crew:
Starring and fight choreo by @dynamicdisguised and @tedtinyy
Director of Photography: @flash.jordy
Lighting/gaffer: @darcymichell_
BTS Camera @brianchiu.arw

The execution:
Inspired by John wick, Cyberpunk: Edge runners, and all great fight scenes, we got the gang together and shot this about a year ago. The boys put together the martial art skills to make an amazing fight choreography, that we workshopped into what you see here.

We shot this in Melbourne in a car park under a bridge, and security came to us twice to ask us about what we were doing (luckily we had the briefcase prop closed!)
but thankfully the lights and cameras were a giveaway and all we had to do was move our car 😂

What is your favourite movie fight scene?

CLEARING OUT THE COBWEBS 🕸️

Here's a little Spidey short @flash.jordy and I shot back in July last year when I was still in Melbourne. There wasn't really any purpose to it other than to have fun and see what we could do. It kind of feels like a trailer to something bigger (which it isn't) but it has definitely inspired me to want to do more like it so hopefully I can create more opportunities like this in the future.

I'd love to hear your feedback in the comments!

Day 1 of SceneScape in Melbourne was super fun.
I saw a bunch of friends and played with some cool kit, and geeked out an appropriate amount…. It’s days like this that remind me that this is not just my career but also a hobby I love.

I finally got to see the Odyssey in 70mm IMAX, and I noticed the difference more than I thought I would. From the richer colours to the focus feeling more intentional, the 70mm version is definitely worth the wait. #imax #theodyssey #film #filmreview #melbourne by @flash.jordy
