Friday was a bittersweet farewell to the Red Baron, and a thrilling introduction to the 981 Spyder with a beautiful drive home from Knoxville to Boston. @harperporsche was an amazing experience, so call Trey if you’re interested in the Red Baron.

What's better than owning a Porsche?
Owning TWO Porsches!

Introducing my new (to me) expertly appointed 981 Cayman S, finished in ♨️Amaranth Red Metallic over a full natural leather interior in Espresso. Spec'ed with options like extended paint package, PASM, PDLS, 14 ways with heating & cooling, Sport Design steering wheel, 20" Carrera S wheels in silver, and Porsche crests on the headrests, among others. What a tasty spec! Complete with all maintenance records, this car was meticulously cared for and I look forward to continuing that treatment.

This will be my more heavily driven of the two, and a great "reset" to what a stock 981 feels and drives like to keep me appreciating the Spyder for what it is.

Here's to many, many smiles per mile.

Some shots from the Cars and Bids & Coffee event this past weekend @archive.boston in Framingham, MA.

My three takeaways:
1. Those @carsandbids guys really know how to curate an outstanding show
2. The Archive is a great facility, and looks like an awesome place to store cars and enjoy the car community. I'd had no idea this place even existed and I'm less than 30 min away!
3. That Aston Martin at the end of this post may look like something you wouldn't consider via the photos but in person, holy Jesus. I would love to rock that machine exactly as is.

The classic 981 Cayman issue: Roofliner sag. Almost every 2006-2016 Cayman does it eventually, and it finally came for mine last year.

But rather than diy a new fabric, I just decided to swap the whole thing out with an OEM replacement. No fuss, no "nearly a match," just a dead-on perfect fix so it's like it never happened.

Probably the most stressful hour I've spent in memory, but so worth it.

Whenever Sunday morning meditation is detailing your favorite car, having the right equipment matters.

This is for sure the cleanest my Spyder has ever been, and the ease of the process blew me away. A few shout-outs are due because I'm amazed at how well these products work with NO BUCKETS and no clay bars.

1. The @drivelabcarcare 3-step wash kit and foam cannon. No more buckets and an incredible clean.

2. @vortexhaus blower
This thing is simply incredible. Worth every cent.

3. @blacklinecarcare clay towel. Clay bar results with just wipe. And it's reusable.

Now to await next weekend to tear up the roads and get the Spyder good and filthy again!

Super stoked for my buddy for purchasing his first Porsche. Introducing a 2017 Macan GTS in Sapphire Blue Metallic over a full leather interior in black with deviated stitching in Chalk, with plenty of creature comforts.

Some credit for the selection goes to @flat6factor, of @_kaleidoscopeshow_, as attending K4 confirmed for my buddy that when he buys a Porsche, a good color needed to be factored in.

Can't wait for the fun this machine will bring.
