Im just a basic boy with basic taste 💁‍♂️ TE37's on a 996 an original. lol

Was planning on keeping this one under wraps but after a spirit driving session at dawn I couldn’t help myself but to take these while having a cuppa and the exhaust crackles. Just something “different” for air | water.

Decided to pull the camera out after the usual Friday morning outing.

Almost a year since I acquired this thing, last couple of weeks I’ve been debating if I should just embrace the GT bug and go for it or move upwards but I always come back from every drive with the biggest grin and not ready to let it go anytime soon. Got a couple of really exciting bits planned for a “phase 2”.

It finally happened…. When I contemplated even getting this car I knew this would be the first thing I would do.

The aerokit look on these cars make this car look totally different, more aggressive and a better representation of all the wall posters on our bedrooms.

Phase 1 is done this is something I posted on my stories but I wanted to safe keep this on the feed. Phase 2 is all about upgrading mechanical parts for a hopefully track day at some point

And... we're back. I didn't expect to return to the 996 platform so quickly, but here we are. This gem was intriguing to pick up and preserve. @17milegarage gave it his signature meticulous treatment, and after a thorough pre-purchase inspection, everything checked out. So, I pulled the trigger.

This car has some interesting features - the sport seats are far superior to my standard C4S seats. With only 36k miles and a stack of receipts, including the window sticker, it's a great find. I love how the chassis is more playful compared to my older car, and the Ohlins and GT3 control arms certainly contribute to that.

I plan to do a few things to do this car justice, OEM-style. If you know anyone selling an Aerokit for this, send them my way.

Most importantly, I'm eager to put some miles on this thing and enjoy it. by @flat6dre

And she’s gone…. I’ve loved this car with all heart (and wallet…) during my year of ownership. This was my introduction to the Porsche world that I quickly realized it was much larger and bigger than just the amazing cars that we all dreamt as we grew up. The people that I’ve met through this car in the last year has been the best “side effect” of being an owner of a P-Car, extremely good and kind people that are always ready to help and get down.

This is a see you later not a good bye, stay tuned.
