Having outdoor space wasn’t one of our top priorities when searching for a home, however I couldn’t imagine living without this extension of our space.

Making the most of it by adding planters and array of appropriate plants for the sun exposure we get out here.

It’s giving I’m in my 30’s so now I grow plants.

We have one bed dedicated to cutting flowers (because Cyd is in her flower frog arrangement era) and one with veggies and herbs.

This was our starting point. Gathering inspo from Pinterest and Instagram and dumping it all together.

Our second flat viewing looked a little like this.
This is the bones we’re working with.
• White walls
• Wooden floors (well worn)
• Grey carpets (not my pick but could be worse)
• High ceilings
• Large rooms - so much space for activities!
• A balcony
• An “office” space
• En suite - we fancy

Stay tuned to see what we’ve done with the space.
