Summer is not over 🥵🩷 by @flatboydoug
Today marks one year since you came into our family. Islay, you are my fourth Flat, and I thought I had already seen it all. Yet you are unlike any of the others, and every single day you continue to teach me something new. You are a sensitive dog with a strong personality and an independent spirit. Sometimes you lack confidence, but you trust me completely, and that trust is a precious gift. You love retrieving work, as long as it’s in familiar surroundings. You adore the water… even if swimming isn’t exactly your favorite thing. And above all, you never miss an opportunity to ask for cuddles—you really are a little charmer. We still have so much to learn from each other, but I know we’ll get there together and become an even stronger team. Thank you for being exactly who you are, Islay. ❤️ by @flatboydoug
