Tomorrow will be our last session for the year, and it has been a fantastic ride so far.

Thank you to @altogetherotherwise for being immediately hooked on the idea despite having no clue what I was talking about. And for creating a space where things like this are possible.

Thank you to everyone who came down: the regulars, the occasional drop-ins, and the one-timers. The ones who tried and failed, tried again and succeeded, and left with pain but a smile on their faces.

Although we are hibernating for a few weeks, rest assured we will be back with the first sun rays of the new year.

There is plenty more to come.

There is only one requirement to join the society: turn up.

If you have turned up somewhere before, you are more than qualified.

A history of continuously turning up somewhere and you are probably entitled to a seat on the imaginary leadership committee.

Locked inside by the unpredictability (or predictability) of a Manchester summer, our first meet-up had us carving to the backdrop of @himhallows‘ psychedelic patterns. There were sweaty t-shirts, flying glasses and big smiles — chaotic at times, always fun.
