Burlington/Toronto nerd who likes to take pictures of things. Hey, you're a thing! Contact if you'd like to make pictures. Also I was in Vogue once.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

About a year ago I did a shoot with a group of people for an Endgame thang. A bit later @torontopeterquill asked if I could add a bit of glow to the eyes, and I was all “sure! Gimme a couple days!”
.
Well, I screwed up real bad with that timeline. In hopes of getting forgiveness, I decided to add a few other glowies. Sorry dude.
.
Shot at around 1pm on a cloudless day. Had an AD400 in an octabox firing around full power to fight the sun, which was a bit behind and to the right.

The mood hit. I think it’s important for everyone to be aware that Captain Commando shortened to the first three letters is Cap Com. Also his lightning ground-pound attack is the best.

Cammy: @luxlocosplay
Chun-Li: @kangacosplay
Captain America: @life.in.technicolour
Morrigan: @bamzycosplay
Iron Man: @life.in.technicolour a second time
Captain Commando: @chris_tari
Gambit: @traskforce.cosplay
Dr. Doom: @christianperera_
Dr. Pepper: A tasty treat.

Disclaimer: Past performance (this) is not indicative of future success. Unless I can improve and streamline, this ain't sustainable. Sure am satisfied with where it landed though.

I spent the weekend trying to make a thing. That's not true. I spent the last five months trying to make a thing, it's just that most of that time was spent trying to figure out what the hell I would do, getting overwhelmed, and putting off doing anything. But I spent the weekend finally pushing through that anxiety and self loathing.

When @slimesprite told me she was organizing a Sonic group for Anime North, an image in my head of something poster-ish appeared, and I was in. Didn't know who was in the group, didn't know what their outfits would look like, didn't know how I'd make it work. Just tried to make sure I took a few shots of each individual that could look mostly consistent. I then wallowed in fear for five months (I suggest skipping this step next time) before knuckling (Missing: Knuckles) down and laying out positioning, cutting everyone out of the parking-garage background, and then letting fly with the colours, glows, effects, and a Death Egg. The final output can print out 30"x24" at full quality, and it will likely forever live only on Instagram. In writing this, I think I discovered where I could make a change to help streamline and stabilize...

Thank you to everyone involved for your cooperation and enabling me to create something I didn't think I could.

Maybe these powers will be gone one day. I’ll wake up and be normal again. But while I have them I have to act. I have to *do* something with them — I need to do more.

@wescraigcomics ‘s Superman: The Stranger started today and I am obsessed! Something about golden age Superman at night is really special.

Thankfully, @flauntymars was smart enough to take a night-style photo of my Superman, inspired by @jamesgunn ‘s bts photo, which fits the vibe pretty well.

My favourite behind the scenes photo from Superman 2025, faithfully recreated by the amazing @flauntymars . Why use the sun as your backdrop when you can use it as a fill light???
