“It’s not about finishing…it’s about having the courage to start” - Phil Roberton 26.04.26 09:00:00 Thank you for the awesome edit @katiepie1379 by @flawedheromovement
It’s easy for me to talk about the Flawed Hero Marathon, but the realness from others hits different. Bringing this event together is incredibly difficult, but feeling the words these 2025 participants speak reminds me of my why. Please watch, and appreciate these guys. A marathon is more than 26.2miles, and I want something where there is no finish line, just a start of “what’s next” by @flawedheromovement
Just over a month removed from @londonmarathon, and a week removed from Mental Health Awareness week. These two things were the spark in me putting this event together. There are more mental health charities than ever. There is more support than ever. There is far less stigma attached to mental health than ever. This is a good thing. Yet rates of mental health are rapidly increasing. It’s alarming, and I don’t fully understand it. I’m not a mental health expert. But I absolutely believe in prescribing self-care and love. I’m not sure it can be argued that self-medicating through exercise, better diet, better sleep, gut health, screen time, and avoiding toxic & stressful environments, will significantly help us all. We don’t have crystal balls, but the greatest predictor of the future is the trajectory of the past. Take a look at your life now, and be honest with where you are putting your energy. We are limited with it, so it needs to invested in your World. Get off your phone, get some air, and give your loved ones a cuddle. Love & appreciate the positives in your life. Is it time to start looking ahead? Leaving any narratives, and the past, in the past? 27th April 2025, we go again. The Flawed Hero® Marathon. Non of us are broken, we don’t need fixing. We are flawed, and we are awesome. This event will level you up in many ways. Entry will go live next month. You’ll be part of a special collective. Message me if you are interested. We will be supporting @pancreaticcanuk in a huge way 💜 🎥 @jaiepetty #londonmarathon #londonmarathontraining #nike #nikerunning #nikewellcollective #running #health #menshealth #mensmentalhealth #letchworth #wellness @nikewellcollective @londonmarathon #flawedhero #flawedheromarathon by @flawedheromovement
We are so lucky to have such an awesome running store in our town. @runactiveletchworth & @izzyallenruns are incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and understand community. So many great events and brands on board, and this session was all about trialling @hyloathletics and a fireside chat with the inspiring @04jphillips. Very insightful how he balances life, work, training, and his ridiculous 2hour 13min marathon. Well worth a visit if you want genuinely top notch advice, and keep an eye on the upcoming events. “Run Like The World Depends On It” - Hylo 👌 by @flawedheromovement
My feed is full of all things New York Marathon. Need to be on that course in 2027 🍎❤️ This time last week I was running the streets, chasing sunrises. Tonight back home, same roads, poor lighting, and slipping on leaves 🤣 @nyrr by @flawedheromovement

Midnight moments in Time Square. Flawed Hero NY edition 🤔 by @flawedheromovement
The Lost Boys was unbelievable. Pure nostalgia. As was the first Flawed Hero Marathon. 3 years ago, I just wanted to get a group of guys doing something awesome together. Some of us were definitely Lost Boys. We have a men’s takeover @padelzone.uk on the 7th November. Please check it out, and share to anyone who needs this ❤️ by @flawedheromovement
Chasing Sunrises! Early start, no real plan, but what a way to see some of the city! For future reference, check pedestrian direction of travel! The Long Islanders were taking no prisoners! Blessed to be able to do this. Movement & travel is a a privilege ❤️ by @flawedheromovement
Why run a midnight marathon in Letchworth?! Why not! There is such symbolism with going through the dark and watching the sunrise. Doing difficult things is important. It helps our capacity to handle life better. “I’ll get fitter first, then train for it next year” No, you won’t. Book the challenge. Have your North Star.
