me, myself & i

hello friends! it's been a while, isn't it? today i asked for help with my currently art block and my friend (@florzinhainhainha) suggested that i could draw me the way i see myself. it's not the first time i do a self portrait, but it's definitely the hardest one, because it's the first piece where i was able to put on paper all my physical insecurities: my acne, my scars, body hair, my struggles with mental health, everything.
i think this drawing means a lot, firstly because i really enjoyed experimenting this different style and secondly because it represents an skill i've been developing for years and that is still not complete yet: the ability to love myself. it's such a hard thing to accept ourselves exactly the way we are, with all the flaws and everything, but i'm proud to say i'm almost there.
