I (Arin, hi 👋) am often asked for recommendations when it comes to tarot decks.

Decks are going to speak to you for different reasons - I’m not going to recommend a one size fits all deck. Even the Rider Waite doesn’t suit every reader.

There is, however, one exception. If you’re a reader, you should experience The Darkwater Tarot. It definitely isn’t for everyone. It’s “black and white” in aesthetics and in energetics, and I personally use it for my private, premium readings, for my half of the psychic art readings, and for situations that need a cuttingly clear response.

The deck was created by James Douglas; resident artist at Fledgling Studios and the other half to the psychic art readings we offer in the shop.

Available on the Fledgling Studios and Northway Magick websites (links in various bios) and each deck now also comes with card sleeves, because it’s truly special and should be treated as such! by @fledglingstudios.stannes

If you weren’t able to catch the live show with @a.l.m.o.r.a.musicandartstudio at the shop you can now watch the whole thing on our YouTube channel, thanks to the excellent filming and editing by skills of @rmfoleymusic by @fledglingstudios.stannes

Three years of monthly scrying workshops, and the 30th of October is the one we look forward to most.

Six modalities: crystal balls, obsidian mirrors, flames, water, wax and smoke. Mint and nettle tea, a third eye meditation, time to play, and a proper grounding at the end.

It’s Samhain Eve. The veil is thin and the mirrors are ready. Book on our website or DM us. by @fledglingstudios.stannes

Death isn’t the villain. It never was.

This Saturday at 7pm I’m going live online for a proper talk on the death deities and the underworld, followed by a guided descent meditation. We’ll look at who they really were, what they were for, and what they might be keeping for you.

Find a quiet corner. Light a candle. Put the kettle on.
