𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖 ::: 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐛𝐲 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐚

Elijah Maja will present an overview and open discussion into his research on call and response – a feedback loop between listener and performer – as a technique and technology that binds together, sound, music and philosophies associated with it. The research looked into how this technology came about, its influence within music and its links to folklore and myth making.

The artist will also share visual and sonic works that speak to this idea, all which have been made and documented during his time researching at Q-02.
