Awe!!
The exact state I have been in since the beginning of the semester.

The Lord has worked in so many ways, and all I can do is praise him. The joy he gives, the strength he provides and the love he shows was seen every single day. I can’t help but fall more in love with him.

Love letter to second semester 💌

God has been so evident this semester. Although it has flown by God has worked in unimaginable ways.
- Fear and anxiety are liars and they are the thief of all joy.
- Forgiveness can set the person to rest but also will change you and open your eyes to your own hurt.
- COMMUNITY IS EVERYTHING!
- God can truly change a person from the inside out.

The people He has placed in my life have not only been the biggest blessing and shown me the joy of the Lord but have taught me things that have grown me like no other. I couldn’t be more blessed! “When I look back over my life and I think how good you have been, my soul sings great is, great is your faithfulness”

Those lyrics truly have resonated with my life so clearly over the past few months. Leaving home, meeting new people, having a different schedule, and basically starting all over was very difficult. Relying on Gods faithfulness, provision, goodness, kindness, gentleness, and peace was the only option. Knowing He would provide everything I needed in the right time was so hard to believe at the time but looking back He not only has provided what I needed but more. Seeing his hand at work through the friendships I have gained, the church family that loves people so tangibly, small groups that have deepened my relationship with the Lord, and this university, has truly deepened my love for the Lord. To think I get to have a relationship with the creator of the universe and He loves me so much is such a gift. He is constantly at work and opening my eyes to the amazing miracles He never stops preforming.
Psalms 100:4-5 says “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”
I’m filled with so much gratitude know he is going to continue being faithful. He is such a good good Father 💌 by @fletcher.em061

📍Rio Grande Valley Mission

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

This past week prayer was our only option. Through the good, bad, unknown, uncertain, wonderful and uncomfortable times we leaned on prayer. Fully pouring God into the people of the Rio Grande Valley was only possible by praying and letting God use us for His glory! Our prayers were answered in ways we could have never imagined. I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to witness God move through us and in us with my brothers and sisters! Thank you Jesus!! taken in Rio Grande Valley by @fletcher.em061

Last One, Best One!!!

At the beginning of the week blue team decided our team name was “Ohana”, because “Ohana Means Family”. Little did we know how much that would apply to our week. The community built this week is a necessity in our walk with Christ and I pray this community continues to build and strengthen! This youth group is something special and I’m so grateful to have been apart of it! WHBC Youth, I love you 🩷
