Sardinia, Italy. One of my very favorite places in the world!
Day 1: After a 2:30am wake up in Sofia, Bulgaria, and 2 flights to get to Olbia, Sardinia, saw my favourite Italian singer, the eccentric Jovanotti, that evening. Fantastic concert full of energy and sing-alongs!
Day 2: relaxed on 'Porto Istana beach', and then spent the evening and night on a boat in a cove of Isola Piana off Port San Paolo. Sunset and sunrise were magical!
Day 3: Docked the next morning and took a ferry to enjoy the day on the beach on Isola Tavolara before heading back for a traditional Sardinian dinner and a night's stay at Agriturismo il Vermentino. So much food!
The only thing missing was my Angie...
See you again soon, Sardinia!

Sarajevo, Bosnia. The influence from the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires are evident. Its even marked on the road! Today, 4 religions live in harmony.
A lovely city to stroll and take in the cultures or sit with a beverage and reflect on its more recent tragedies...
