Part 3 of 4 - stay tuned for more 45s from the vault

016 - 2018 No stopping Doug Shorts

From Slow Poison (2016) — produced by San Francisco’s MianMein Ensemble — to a conscious soul collab with @robustchicago (2017), featuring Archie Brooks (Master Plan Inc.) and French producer @flevprod - Doug’s voice keeps crossing borders.

But 2018 changed everything:
His @daptonerecords debut was more than a milestone — it proved his comeback was the only right move.
“Casual Encounter” & “Keep Your Head Up” finally gave his sound the spotlight it always deserved.

Chicago soul with global reach.
