Hi all,

It’s been a long year and we are in the final month of 2025.

I’m stopping by to share this opportunity.

We’re longtime @Costco members and for the first time ever in our experiences as loyal members and customers, a Costco product currently in stock and on sale has a deeper connection and meaning.

My friend informed me that she was involved in the development of the packaging materials for @drbronner magic soap 🧼 which was used and seen as part of the display at Costco shelves and pallets.

This is an awesome achievement 👏🏻 🎉 and I was happy to lend my support by trying something 🆕 and buying a box during this busy, holiday 2025 season.

I hope you all take a moment to try something new and whenever possible lend your support to those in your community.

Congratulations to my friend! 🤩 🙌🏻

Thank you Costco, Dr Bronner’s and have a safe Happy Holiday season to all!!!

As part of the Year of Snake 🐍 and the 2025 NBA 🏀 All-Star game and festivities, which are being hosted and held in San Francisco and Oakland, it was a real cool experience to see these 2 new colorful wall murals in Chinatown that were made by local artists.

Both amazing artworks compliment and pay homage to Chinese history and culture and their contributions to San Francisco and Bay Area. Plus, for sports and basketball fans, having the image of legend, Kobe Bryant, whose nickname was the Black Mamba 🐍, was definitely a great addition that fit in nicely.

I enjoyed the entire experience including seeing elderly people exercise and even a few shooting hoops 🏀 during my visit.

Thank you Elaine Chu and Marina Perez-Wong of @twinwallsmuralcompany and @nike for the mural with Kobe.

Thank you Sorell Tsui for your Year of Snake and basketball themed mural.

And lastly, Thank you Portsmouth Garage for the beautiful artworks 🖼️ and dragon 🐉 , and offering free 2-hour parking 🚗 for a limited time.

Completed in October 2024, the Burnside Steps are another colorful artistic masterpiece created and designed by the team of local artists, Aileen Barr and Colette Crutcher.

Both ladies have designed other amazing mosaic tiled staircases and architecture such as the popular Moraga Steps that are found in various locations in the City by the Bay.

The Burnside Steps are a great addition to the beautiful portfolio of eye-catching artwork that build and reinforce community, and showcases the power of human creativity, teamwork and financial investments in art, history and culture.

Thank you to the @sfrecpark, the City of San Francisco and Aileen Barr, Colette Crutcher, and all involved in making this opportunity become reality and for offering this hidden gem 💎to residents and visitors of San Francisco to enjoy in-person.

For reference, current images from the Moraga Steps are included in this set.

Go @warriors! 💛💙🏀

To all who reached out in various communication channels, THANK YOU for the birthday greetings. I appreciate you for taking time out of your day for the message.

On this same day of my birth, the world 🌍 unfortunately lost a music legend, icon, and treasure, Tina Turner.

I love music 🎵 and definitely heard many songs which Tina sang either as a solo artist or in collaboration with others such as We Are the World. I am a 1980’s kid.

I spent time watching the HBO documentary on Tina’s life which was released in 2021. It was a fantastic and inspiring experience to hear in her own words about her journey in life, from her humble beginnings to her rise and fall and eventual transformation into a world renowned music legend who packed stadiums 🏟️ around the world.

THANK YOU, Tina!!! Rest in Peace and may your light continue to shine brightly. You are simply The Best!!!

And, again, THANK YOU everyone for your time. 😃 🙏🏻🎵🌍❤️

I’ve enjoyed seeing various artwork 🖼️ by @jherren in recent years. From the coffee ☕️ shop that Philz you up with your favorite brew to a message of Hope nestled along the hillside with the famous Painted Ladies 🏡 and now his latest found at the Ferry Building, I love Jordan’s unique artistic style that blends a spectrum of colors matched with contemporary themes and all work synergistically to offer an attractive, visually-stunning presentation and experience. A true joy to see. Congratulations Jordan! Great work. Keep it up and continue to offer your artistic talents to the SF Bay Area and world 🌍. Go Rams! Go Gators!🐏 🐊 🇵🇭

It’s another football 🏈 season in the USA 🇺🇸 currently & I’m excited to follow the competitive quest of my favorite team, 49ers.

Recently, I completed reading 📖 a 500+ page biography on the life of Hall of Fame coach & legend, Vince Lombardi.

This literary journey written by Pulitzer Prize winning author, @davidmaraniss, was rich with profound insights that educated me on the storied life of a complicated man whose singular desire to be the best was not a straightforward path, opened new doors of opportunities & transformed lives along the way.

There’s many takeaways that resonated with me, which I’m sharing a few with you:

1 - Lombardi spent almost 20 years of his life coaching at the high school, college & the NFL levels before finally having the chance to be the head coach of an NFL team at the age of 46

2 - In 1939, his starting salary as a high school teacher was $1700 USD annually

3 - Lombardi embraced & championed diversity as his NFL teams were one of the first if not the first to have African American & gay players. Having experienced discrimination himself & one of his brothers was gay, Lombardi understood first hand its negative impact & made it clear to his teams that such discrimination was not acceptable nor tolerated under his leadership.

4 - Lombardi was a master in maximizing the potential of individual players as well as the team by coaching differently. To some, he was the best psychologist around. Translation: many victories, championships, high esteem & respect

5 - Despite experiencing frustrations of being passed over for head coaching positions, Lombardi never wavered, still believed & kept moving forward to hone his skills throughout the almost 20 years of waiting & wanting.

So, whatever your goals, expectations & aspirations are, continue to believe, keep moving forward & keep focusing. The opportunity you seek may not be exactly what you want initially but in time it may be exactly what you’re looking for.

THANK YOU, David! Well-written masterpiece. A definite touchdown! 🏈 taken in Levi's Stadium by @flex_xpress

2022 New York Fashion Week concluded and offered future looks for Spring/Summer 2023 by today’s designers.

This reminds me of various fashion and art exhibits I’ve had the opportunity to experience through the years. From Cristobal Balenciaga in 2011 to @guopei in 2022 and Monet and Tissot in between in 2019, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the labor of love 💕 of all these masters in their trades.

Although their trades are different from my educational and professional background, I definitely see their passion, vision, hard work and consistency, to name a few, in the products they offer to the world.

These are common threads 🧵 of success that I find interwoven in their work and a great reminder that, in life, these are some of the elements needed to succeed.

I see the same in the many photographers, food and travel bloggers, fitness and sports professionals whom I follow.

They all share the passion, vision, hard work and consistency while pursuing their respective interests and offering them to the world 🌍.

To all: I cheer 📣 for you and wish you well on your respective journeys, through the highs and lows and everything else in between that life throws your way. Keep being you while offering the world your uniqueness and positivity.

Who knows your efforts may inspire others like me to keep going, too!

It’s September 2022! I smile brighter for this month because I love the music of @earthwindandfire 🌍 💨 🔥. Plus, one of their classic songs is the name of this very month, which I love tremendously.

EWF’s music has crossed cultural barriers and their portfolio of music is a fantastic bonding experience for humanity. Their music touches the heart ❤️ , soul and mind 🧠 beautifully.

Also, the song, September, and the music group reminds me of one of my skincare business partners, who like the group and their music has touched my life by bringing me a brighter smile and uplifting my spirits 😃 😆. Miss and appreciate you, Erin the Educator 👩🏼‍🏫 and Entrepreneur! Look forward to the day we all can see each other in-person again. Until then wishing you a great upcoming school year 🍎 📚 🙏🏻

Recently I was looking for a late, late night meal 🥘 as my mom was hungry and wanted something to eat.

Given the time, there were not many restaurants opened and limited options. Thus, we settled on McDonald’s 🍟 🍗.

While driving 🚗 there, I spotted this boba 🧋 business which caught my attention due to its unique name and it quickly reminded me of one of my skincare business partners who also operates a boba business in a different state in the USA 🇺🇸.

Although it was closed, I kept the boba business in mind and, when schedules aligned, I finally tried them out for the 1st time.

I learned @kissmyboba is a family run business whose owners are of Tongan 🇹🇴 descent and heritage and they opened in October 2021.

I ordered one of their house specialties, Tongan Mango Otai with an optional topping of classic boba.

Service was quick and friendly, and environment clean and airy.

As I drove away, I notice the boba business was located across a Hawaiian restaurant which I’ve ordered and eaten before. One of my other skincare business partners have done so, too.

Overall, loved 🥰 this recent eating experience as it opened a new door 🚪 of opportunity. Plus, it reminded me of 2 awesome people and their respective families whom I have tremendous respect for and appreciate being connected with them because of 2 female doctors 👩🏼‍⚕️👩🏼‍⚕️and their vision of offering a platform to change lives together.

To the team, staff and family of Kiss My Boba, congratulations 🎉 and Thank You 🙏🏻 for having me. I’ve enjoyed your boba and experience. Wishing you all success and a great upcoming 1st Anniversary this October 2022! 💋 🧋

I love learning 📚. The following true story hits home on so many levels personally and brings me such joy and excitement. Hopefully, you’ll feel the same.

@mavenscreamery is a San Jose, CA confectionery and dessert business founded by 2 Asian sisters of Vietnamese 🇻🇳 descent, Gwen and Christine Nguyen 👯‍♀️.

Both decided to pursue entrepreneurship through the influence and inspiration of their father who forgoed his dream of being an entrepreneur to support his family and daughters.

Without any culinary experience, the Nguyen sisters started their start-up business in true Silicon Valley fashion: in their parents’ garage!

Through their concerted efforts, their company became successful and started to grow. However, they needed additional funding to scale the business.

Both sisters appeared on the TV 📺 show, @sharktankabc and successfully secured a partnership and funding from @barbaracorcoran.

I LOVE 💗 Shark Tank 🦈 and Barbara is one of my favorite Sharks on the show!

With Barbara’s support, the Nguyens sisters reached their goals 🥅 of scaling their business further while realizing the dream of their father!

Being Asian of Filipino descent 🇵🇭 whose parents decided to immigrate to the USA 🇺🇸 to pursue a better life and future especially for their growing children and establishing new roots in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus working in start-up companies myself and pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities and having many friends from various cultures including Vietnamese, I truly LOVE the Nguyens’ story. It’s like their products, sweet and awesome!!!!

During the summer 🌞 before the start of my sophomore year in high school 🏫, my father unfortunately experienced a life changing health accident that resulted in him being hospitalized and, eventually, after almost 1 year, passing away 4 days after my birthday and near the end of that academic school year.

In the same school year, I earned my 🚘 driver’s license and had to drive my mom to her work. My mom didn’t drive. At the time, my mom was a nurse 👩🏻‍⚕️ and worked swing shift, which was between 4 PM and midnight, daily.

I was juggling 🤹🏼‍♀️ many balls then: a heavy academic schedule, extra curricular activities such as class president, various activities to clubs, and athletics, namely football 🏈 and track and field 🏃🏾.

The need to drive my mom to work and picking her up at midnight for 2+ school years, driving and visiting my father, who, in retrospect was in the process of dying, in the hospital 🏥 and care facility, and also, managing the academic and athletic requirements left me, in many times, always “working,” on-the-go constantly and exhausted with less sleep 💤. By the time I graduated, I was also working at the bank 🏦.

However, throughout all these life experiences, I somehow made it through with the assistance of many, many people along the way. To that, I say THANK YOU!!!!!

It was definitely not planned yet it was my pathway, whether I liked it or not, that I had to take as a teenager who was transitioning to a young, college age student 👨🏻‍🎓 💛💙 🤠.

As an adult now, that period in my life helped mold and temper me. It gave me a better, deeper understanding of what it means to live, face challenges, and being more relatable and sensitive to others as they experience their own lives.

What one ☝🏽 experience in your life has shaped you to become who you are today? 🤔
