I have been photographing Burning Man since my first Burn in 2016….

It’s been an honour and a privilege to be official media all these years. And seeing Jerry Snyder’s The Midnight Museum of That One Time at Burning Man brought them all flooding back!

These two are celebrating 7 years together ❤️

I met Sam through our mutual friend @hammyjay in Trinity Bellwoods Park and we bonded over Burning Man as I fiddled with a new camera lens. Soon after Sam asked me to shoot an event for her Freedom Lifestyle podcast (a must-listen for the remote worker) and I got to know Jared (@schachattack). Talk about #couplegoals ! From publishing a book together on mastering the #LDR, to traveling the world while working remotely, and supporting each other every step of the way... I knew Jared's surprise proposal would go off without a hitch! Even with Sam predicting it months before, while we caught up over coffee in the park, I don't think she imaged he'd borrow the house they met in, have #TSwift playing, AND bring her beloved @badgal_bengal ! Well, he did... and I had the pleasure of shooting the whole damn thing! These photos continue to be some of my faves from my couples sessions and I could not be happier seeing them still celebrate their love on the daily. Congrats you two! xoxo

This was one of...

my favourite art installations on the playa this past year. Ever since I was a kid I've been enamored by larger than life photographs or realistic oil paintings, and seeing BLACK! ASÉ tower over the dust was no exception.

I am still so obsessed with this shoot! And the thing is... I’d thought about it for months before it happened. I knew Jenna and Dan were expecting and thought to myself “Hmmm...Maybe they’d like a pregnancy shoot?” But I didn’t act on it. It wasn’t until weeks before Mateo arrived that Dan reached out to me to do it, and to say I was thrilled to accept was an understatement! What a special place and time in their lives to document on film. Now, a year later, these two are celebrating Mateo’s first birthday! Congratulations to you both on an incredible first year and wishing your little guy lots of love on his special day.

Could not be happier for these two humans! We met a few months before the Burn at a weekend party in Northern Ontario. As Burners we're no strangers to costumes, self-expression, and dancing til dawn... and these two newbies jumped in with both feet! To top off their enthusiasm they also happen to be immensely kind and compassionate people. No wonder they found each other and Ronit gave a heartfelt "yes!" when Matt surprised her with a proposal! I love seeing your love for one another and am so excited for you both!
