📚☕ Who says the classroom is the only place to get lost in a good book?

One of our 5th-grade book clubs took their reading adventure to a local café today! ☕📖 While enjoying warm drinks and tasty treats, our students dove into Ghost by Jason Reynolds, discussing how and why the main character changes throughout the story. They even tried a special Puerto Rican pastry for the first time, squeezed in a round or two of Uno, and made sure to thank the café staff before heading back to school with full minds and happy hearts! 💚

We love seeing our Future Leaders connect reading, critical thinking and community in such meaningful ways. After all, a great reading spot can be anywhere—all you need is a good book! 📚✨

The newest Future Leaders started Kindergarten this year! Taking a look back at the Kindergarten family event from earlier in the month. It was so much fun to see our K families come together.

If you know any Future Leaders looking for a School to call home, tell them to FLI their way to us!

Three weeks of vocabulary turned into endless fun for our sixth graders! Our brilliant young middle schoolers put their word knowledge into play with Ms. Reed last week! UNO cards guided them around the board, and each turn challenged them to read a vocabulary word and give a synonym, name an antonym, or use it in a sentence. Their teammates were the judges of their answers, causing everyone to practice the word definitions as they played. See the excitement on their faces!

What an amazing turnout we had at the Kings of FLI event this morning! Thank you to all of the Father figures of our community that were able to break bread with us. The impact that your involvement in your child's schooling makes in their lives is inexplicable...because you aren't just building future leaders.. you're building future fathers, mothers, and familial foundations.

Here's to the Kings of FLI 🤴 🙌

Before we head into the weekend, we want to give a BIG shoutout to the amazing teachers at FLI! 👏🏽
Every day, our teachers show up with dedication, patience, and passion—guiding students, encouraging them to keep going, and helping them discover what they’re capable of. 📚🌟

A big thank you to ALL of our teachers for doing their part to build our future leaders.

Field day at FLI was a day to remember!

While our mission to build our Future Leaders is always our top priority, there is something special about just being the moment..and the moments we made on Field Day we won't soon forget.

Thank you to both our students and FLI community as a whole for choosing to make so many moments here with us. Here's to many more!
