Hi I’m Erica 👋 I’m a sports and orthopedic physical therapist, strength & conditioning coach, and the owner of Flight Physical Therapy. After years of working in different practices, I knew I wanted to create a different kind of PT experience, one where I could spend more time with each person, understand the bigger picture, and bridge the gap between rehab and performance. Flight Performance & Fitness has been part of my life for a decade since they started, so opening my practice here felt like a natural fit. Now, physical therapy and training can happen under one roof, with PTs and coaches working together toward the same goal: getting you back to doing what you love. At Flight Physical Therapy, every session is 60 minutes and one-on-one. No double booking, no bouncing between providers, and no insurance company determining what your care looks like. Flight PT is cash-based, which gives us the freedom to make decisions based on what you need, not what insurance allows. Superbills are available for those with out-of-network benefits. Whether you’re recovering from surgery, dealing with an injury, trying to get back on the field or court, or just want to keep lifting and doing the things you love, you don’t have to be an elite athlete to be treated like one. I’m incredibly excited to finally have a place where rehab and performance truly live together. Flight Physical Therapy | Waltham, MA📍

“Do you take insurance?” It’s one of the most common questions I get. Flight Physical Therapy is a cash-based, out-of-network practice and I chose that model intentionally. I wanted to create a space where I could spend a full 60 minutes, 1-on-1 with every patient. Where treatment decisions are based on what you actually need, and where rehab doesn’t stop at “good enough.” For athletes and active people especially, being pain free isn’t always the finish line. Getting back to doing what you love can mean rebuilding strength, power, confidence, and performance and having objective testing to help guide the process. And being out-of-network doesn’t necessarily mean your insurance can’t help. I provide a superbill after your visits that you can submit to your insurance company, and depending on your individual plan, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Cash-based PT isn’t the right choice for everyone, and that’s okay. But if you value 1-on-1 care, longer sessions, individualized treatment, and a true bridge from rehab → performance, it may be worth exploring. 💬 Questions about pricing or out-of-network benefits? Send me a DM. Your care. Your goals. Your timeline. ✈️ by @flight_physical_therapy

Kimura shirts, Flight training, and a shared focus on community. Our coach Marb works out at Flight Performance and Fitness in Waltham. When Dylan showed up wearing his Kimura shirt, they had to grab a photo. We appreciate the people and places that help others build strength, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Good to see some Kimura pride at Flight! by @flight_physical_therapy

We're back at it for year 2! Last year, the Flight community came together and donated an incredible amount of food to support Healthy Waltham Food Pantry. Thanks to everyone's generosity, we were able to donate an entire pallet of food to families in need! This year, we're looking to make an even bigger impact! Starting tomorrow, we'll once again be collecting nonperishable food donations at Flight to help support local families in our community. If you're coming in for a workout, consider bringing a few items to donate. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference! Let's see if we can top last year's donations! Community. Impact. Giving Back. Thank you for helping us support our Waltham community! #FlightPerformanceAndFitness #HealthyWaltham #WalthamMA #WalthamCommunity by @flight_physical_therapy
A little golf, a little anatomy, and a lot of conversation about how to move better on the course! ⛳️ We had a great time at Birdie Bar talking all things golf performance, from mobility and strength to the role physical therapy and strength training play in improving your swing and keeping you on the course. A huge thank you to everyone who came out, asked questions, and participated! And thank you to Birdie Bar for hosting us! We love opportunities to get out into the community, share what we know, and help people keep doing the activities they love. 🏌️ Until next time! #FlightPhysicalTherapy #GolfPerformance #GolfFitness #WalthamMA #PhysicalTherapy CommunityEducation by @flight_physical_therapy
Reviews like this mean so much 🫶 Helping athletes recover from injury is about more than getting them back on the field. It’s about building strength, restoring confidence, and making the rehab process something they actually look forward to. Getting to be a part of that journey, and having families trust me with their athletes, is something I’ll never take for granted. Thank you for the kind words and continued support! by @flight_physical_therapy
