One small device……………

Portable, light but built to last, the FlipStand is a multipurpose game changing golf aid that will ingrain proper mechanics through visuals cues that you will still see in your subconscious after it is removed.

Alignment, ball position, club face orientation, swing path and swing plane just to name a few.

Adjustable putting gates that will dial in your start / finish line and speed control. Place this anywhere to practice any breaking or straight putt you desire or any chip or pitch you want. Practice at home or the office the options are endless.

The carry bag has multiple uses like speed control, obstacle avoidance, body connection drills and there is an X on the back for placement on the green to reinforce the target landing area to learn how to chip and pitch properly. Not to mention is a weather proof material that will keep your grips dry when in stand mode.

Yes it is also a stand for your clubs around the greens so no more forgetting clubs or dirty / wet grips. In this mode you can also place an alignment stick for adjustable swing plane assistance.

Let’s make more putts……..

Alignment, ball position, and club face orientation is critical in golf, especially putting. Give yourself the best chance at making putts out there!!

Research says 92% of what dictates the start line of the ball is face angle (club face orientation) at address.
Make sure to align the club BEFORE taking your grip.

Have more fun! Make more putts and drastically lower those scores!

Early extension = you humping at the ball. 🚫

Taught Simeon’s hips to rotate BACK instead of sliding forward. Posture stays. Contact gets pure. 🎯

Lesson with Simeon from Head Down 🤝 (Gunner supervised 🐶)

The NFL is back!!……………………..

Double edge sword for some of us. Shorter days, colder weather and unfortunately less outside golf.

Are you a football fan? Who ya got?

Set up is crucial for consistency………….

This is a game of millimeters and degrees. It’s so easy to develop bad habits from poor alignment, ball position and club face orientation. Throw in all the other skills needed to play consistent golf and it can feel like we can’t do anything right.

Getting back to the basics and drilling fundamentals does wonders for your game. We need to train our eyes and body to see and feel square.

Just slapping balls around doesn’t do anything for us long term. Practice with the purpose of setting up the same exact way depending on the club and shot you are attempting.

Set yourself up for success!!

30 yard check and release……….

1- First and foremost the ball has to be struck clean or spin diminishes.

2- It really helps to activate the bounce by slightly opening the face THEN grip the club. This will keep the leading edge from digging. Aim your feet and shoulders a little left to compensate for opening the club face.

3- Take some practice swings brushing the grass while in the stance you will use for the shot. Pay attention to where the club is making contact with the grass. Use this feedback to let you know where the ball will be in your stance.

Ball first then turf interaction will get the ball spinning the way you want. Hopefully this ball position is off the instep of your back foot. Try getting 60% of your weight on your lead side and keep it there the whole swing.

4- Arms and hands are taken away from the ball with your core not the other way around stay connected.

5- Hands do not roll over in the follow through. Toe stays up and EXIT LEFT with your hands. This subtle move swiping to the left will impart more spin giving you that beautiful check and release.

6- Always find a target landing spot, this spot is usually the place that a putt would go in from if that was what we were doing. Try using different clubs and notice how our landing spot will change depending on loft.

7- Talk nice to yourself and be exact on what you are trying to accomplish. See the shot before you hit it.

8- We need a loose grip with no tension in our arms and body,
feel the club head and let it work for you.

Lefties just aim a little right and exit right with the club face slightly open everything thing else is the same.

Hope this helps time to get some reps in⛳️
