The Flipturn Wine Club is officially open! 🍷 I’ve been working on this club for a while, so I’m really excited to finally share it with you. I believe wine is best when it’s part of something bigger — a meal, a gathering, a porch hang, or just a moment that makes you slow down a little. And the more I learn about wine, the more joy I find in every glass. That’s the ethos behind this club. I wanted to create something that goes beyond just sending bottles. Twice a year, members will receive a small seasonal collection of Flipturn wines (4 or 6 bottles), along with my personal tasting notes, food pairing ideas, and educational resources from my wine education brand, Barrel Dork, to help you enjoy each bottle with more curiosity and confidence. Each shipment will also spotlight one of my small-producer winemaker friends through a postcard sharing their story, their wines, and a QR code to explore their bottles This club is an extension of everything I love most: making thoughtful, food-friendly wine and helping people feel more connected to what’s in their glass. There are only 60 spots available, and some have already been claimed. If you’re interested in joining, click the link in my bio to explore the club tiers and sign up. 🍇 Photo credit: @cheryljuetten #orwine #oregonwine #pdxwine #womenwinemakers #wineclub by @flipturncellars

If you’ve been meaning to join the Flipturn Wine Club, this is your last chance to get in on the fall shipment going out later this month.🍂 I have two club tiers: The Dive, which includes four wines twice a year, and The Deep End, which includes six. Both come with more than just wine — wine education materials I put together myself, personal tasting notes and food pairing cards to help you enjoy every bottle even more, first access to library drops from vintages you won’t find anywhere else, discounted entry to select in-person events, and year-round discounts on additional bottle purchases. This fall’s allocation includes a few wines perfect for the chilly months ahead, plus my brand new 2024 Columbia Gorge Syrah — a bright, cool-climate Syrah that’s made for autumn. And I’m excited to also include my Willamette Valley Viognier, which just picked up 93 Points and Editors’ Choice from @wineenthusiast . As always, you can customize your box so you only receive wine that suits your unique tastes. After this shipment goes out, the next club allocation won’t be until April. If you’ve been wanting to sip seasonal releases and be part of what I’m building here, I’d love to have you in the club ➡️ fliptourncellars.com/club (link also in bio!) #oregonwine #craftwine #pdxwine #womenwinemakers #orwine by @flipturncellars
Update on my Saperavi wine 🍇 As a refresher, Saperavi is a rare teinturier grape native to the country of Georgia (known as the birthplace of wine). Unlike most red wine grapes, its flesh and juice are also red, giving it an intense, inky color.🖤 She’s a beaut! #saperavi #georgiawine #oregonwine #pdxwine #harvest2026 by @flipturncellars
This part of harvest is always bittersweet—getting barrels prepped for wine.🍷 Fermentations are wrapping up, the pace of cellar tasks is slowing down, and the long days of harvest are starting to wind down. There’s still work ahead, and I cannot wait to share the 2026 wines with you at soooome point. Until then, my wines and I are (almost!) ready for a nap. 😴 #harvest2026 #winemaking #oregonwine #pdxwine #womenwinemakers by @flipturncellars
Cannot get over the color on this Saperavi 💜🖤 So stoked to be working with this Georgian grape this year! Saperavi is a rare teinturier grape, meaning its flesh and juice are red too—giving it all that inky color. 🦑 #harvest2026 #saperavi #georgianwine #oregonwine #winemaking by @flipturncellars

Thanks for listening to my TED Talk on Saperavi — a new grape for Flipturn this harvest! 🍇 Native to the country of Georgia (aka the birthplace of wine), Saperavi is an ancient and rare teinturier grape — meaning unlike most red wine grapes, its flesh and juice are pigmented too, giving it a seriously intense color. 🖤 I’m excited to see where this one goes! You might not find this cool, but I find it cool. 🤓 #saperavi #georgiawine #oregonwine #pdxwine #harvest2026 by @flipturncellars
The final fruit of the season is in the house! 🍇 Tuesday’s pickup in the Columbia Gorge was beautiful, and I now have two new wines joining the 2026 vintage that I’m excited to work with: Cab Franc for rosé, and a very cool, very nerdy grape called Saperavi. (More on this one later!) Harvest is far from over, but all the magic is happening back at the winery now. ✨ #oregonwine #pdxwine #harvest2026 #womenwinemakers by @flipturncellars
Dropped off picking bins for the vineyard team yesterday! 🍇 This week, they’ll be filled with the final fruit of my 2026 Harvest szn, and I’ll be hauling it all back to the winery to get to work. Let’s go 💪 #harvest2026 #winemaking #oregonwine #womenwinemakers by @flipturncellars
The dogs were good again! Harvest has kept me away from events these past few weeks, but I’ve still managed to squeeze in a couple. Here were some very sweet doggos providing all the therapy pets. 🤗 📍: @woodlawnfarmersmarket @helvetiamarket #portlandoregon #winedogs #harvest2026 #traveloregon #pdxnow by @flipturncellars
After 14 days in primary fermentation, the 2026 Barbera was pressed off the skins yesterday and is now getting prepped to go into barrel for a long nap. Thanks Scott, Chris, and Frances for all your help yesterday… dream team! 💪 #oregonwine #harvest2026 #winemaking #womenwinemakers #pdxwine by @flipturncellars
