Studios We Stan: @willpowerpacker Studios

When we say we stan we mean it.

@willpowerpacker isn’t just behind culture shifting hits like Girls Trip Ride Along and The Photograph, he’s also a proud @famu_1887 alum.

Both the CEO @graffitidiva and the COO @thr3erules) of FlixMate™️ are fellow Rattlers (Classes of 2000 and 2004). That shared FAMU legacy grounded in brilliance creativity and community is part of what drives our vision.

FlixMate™️ is a new social app for discovering sharing and tracking what to watch. Coming to the App Store and Google Play this fall. Built by us. Powered by the community.

We’re kicking off our Studios We Stan series with Will Packer Studios because this is the kind of storytelling that moves culture and brings people together.

👀 If you know @willpowerpacker let him know some #Rattlers built something for the next generation of entertainment lovers. Let’s connect.

We're heading to Oakland for the Original Black Panther Party's 60th anniversary, and one question is on my mind.

We've seen movies and documentaries tell different versions of the story. But which Black Panther Party films have you seen, and what did you think?

Judas and the Black Messiah. Panther. The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution.

Which one stood out to you? What did Hollywood get right or wrong?
Drop your thoughts below.

Sometimes the best feedback is not what someone says. It is what they do when nobody is telling them where to click.

That is what we were watching during FlixMate® Focus Group #2. Where people paused, what they tried first and what made sense without help.

It gave us plenty to work with.

We are too close to FlixMate® to be the only people deciding whether something makes sense. That is why we keep putting the app in front of real users.

Sometimes they confirm what we thought. Sometimes they show us something we missed.

Both are useful.

Focus Group #2 is in the books. We put FlixMate® back in front of real users and paid attention to what made sense, where people paused and what they naturally gravitated toward.

Some things were confirmed, and some things need another look. That is why we keep testing.

Would you join a future FlixMate® product test?
