Candidate House of Representatives AMAC/BWARI Fed constituency for the African Action Congress in the 2027 election

POSTS STORIES REELS

This should not be normal.
For workers commuting across AMAC and Bwari, transportation is not just about getting from Point A to Point B. It is about how much of your income is spent commuting, how much time is lost, and whether you can get home safely and with dignity.
We need to stop treating transportation as an afterthought.
The Federal Urban Mass Transit Agency Act dates back to 1993. It was created for a very different transportation environment. More than three decades later, we need to ask whether the framework guiding our urban mass transit system is still fit for the realities of today's cities and commuters.
That is why I am proposing a National Efficiency Transit Operations Act, a new framework to replace the outdated 1993 Federal Urban Mass Transit Agency Act and put the needs of today's commuter at the centre of transportation policy.
A framework focused on affordable commuting, efficient mass transit, safety and accountability.
Because transportation is not a luxury.
It is a necessity.
Abuja deserves a transportation system that works for the people who keep Abuja moving.

Karu Ward, THANK YOU! 💚💛

What a day! The warmth, energy, and incredible turnout we received during our road show was truly inspiring. Thank you to every youth, woman, man, family, and supporter who came out to welcome us and stand with the movement.
This is more than a campaign, it is a growing movement of people who believe that our representation can be better, more responsive, and truly centred on the people.
Karu Ward, you showed us that the movement is growing, and we are only getting started.
Together, we will take our communities back and set a new standard for Leadership.

Watch as we share our views on the issues affecting the FCT, particularly AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency. As we have consistently emphasized, the time has come to elect representatives who are truly in touch with the people, understand their challenges, and are prepared to offer practical solutions.
Join the movement for 2027 as we work together to set a new standard for leadership, one built on service, accessibility, accountability, and results.

OUR CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER!

Our public schools are in a mess, and every officeholder in the FCT should be ashamed of this failure. This is not about politics; it is about the future of our children.

My heart broke when I visited LEA Primary School, Sheretti, in Kabusa Ward. Children were sitting on the bare floor, while the stench from open defecation behind their classrooms was unbearable. No child should have to learn under such conditions. It is disgraceful that public education continues to suffer this level of neglect in the heart of Abuja Municipal.

To celebrate Uncle P’s birthday, we joined the train in distributing school supplies to less privileged pupils. From school bags and books to socks and sandals, these little acts of kindness brought smiles to the faces of the children and their teachers. Their joy was heartwarming, but it was also a painful reminder of how much these children have been denied.

However, charity cannot replace government responsibility. Private citizens should not have to fill the gaps left by a government that has failed to provide the most basic conditions for learning. Our leaders must wake up, and as citizens, we must demand accountability.

I have said it repeatedly: I am running because there is a dangerous disconnect between the people and those elected to represent them. These children deserve better from their Senator, House of Representatives member, Area Council Chairman and Councillor. Their collective failure to address such basic needs is unacceptable.

In 2027, we must demand more. We must elect people who understand that public office is a responsibility, not a title.

Youth Empowerment Through Sports.

Abuja is home to countless talented young people whose potential remains largely untapped. We must begin to see sports not merely as a form of recreation, but as a powerful tool for youth empowerment, job creation, and economic development.
As your representative, I will champion the provision of modern, state-of-the-art sports facilities in our public schools, designed to nurture young talents and encourage active participation in sports. These facilities will also be accessible to surrounding communities after school hours, creating opportunities for young people to train, develop their skills, and stay positively engaged.
Beyond infrastructure, we will promote and organise sporting competitions that bring our communities together while attracting scouts, coaches, and sports development partners who can connect our talented youths to opportunities at local, national, and international levels.
Our goal is simple: to turn talent into opportunity, passion into a profession, and sports into a pathway to economic independence for our youths.
Our young people deserve more than encouragement; they deserve the facilities, platforms, and opportunities to excel.

A few days ago, we had the privilege of meeting with the Caring and Uplifting Widows Association(CUWO) in Kubwa, Abuja, where our mothers offered heartfelt prayers and sang seven beautiful songs, symbolising perfection, as they interceded for victory for Hon. Neto Ozzoude at the polls. 🙏🏽

Beyond the prayers and songs, they emphasized the need for young, intelligent, and God-fearing leaders who understand the daily struggles of ordinary Nigerians and are committed to making life better for the people.

I am deeply humbled by their love, prayers, and encouragement. Leadership is not just about occupying an office; it is about understanding the people, sharing in their struggles, and working tirelessly to improve their lives.

Together, we will build a future where leadership means service, not promises.

Still reflecting on the just-concluded Igbo Day celebration, I had a brief conversation with Hon. Ezekiel Dalhatu, Accord’s senatorial candidate, where I wished him the very best in his campaign.
I was also warmly received by the FCT South East Wing of the NDC, in an atmosphere that reflects the kind of opposition unity I believe Nigeria needs ahead of 2027.
As I have consistently maintained, this election should not be a battle among opposition parties. We share a common goal: to end the bad governance that continues to push Nigerians deeper into poverty while those in power spend our common wealth on luxury vehicles and private jets.

In 2027, the people must decide!

Yesterday, I was on Nigerian Info 95.1 FM to discuss the opposition’s readiness for the coming elections.

Like the song says, “The People Must Decide!”

As young Nigerians, we must take a page from Serbia and realise that our future is in our hands. Taking back our country requires more than discussing presidential candidates. We must also scrutinise those seeking to represent us in the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Who are these candidates? What do they stand for? What solutions are they bringing to the table? And how will they be held accountable?

Our democracy must go beyond the presidency. We must become more conscious, more involved, and more intentional about who we elect at every level.

The time to take our destiny into our own hands is now. Nigeria belongs to us all, and the responsibility to reclaim its future starts with us.

The people must decide. Service, Not Promises! by @flo_316

Earlier today, we were given a certificate of honour by the Igbo community in Abuja at the Iriji/Igbo Day Celebration held at the Old Parade Ground, Abuja.

I am deeply humbled by the recognition, warmth, and fellowship extended to me and the other candidates from various political parties present.

Ultimately, our goal must be bigger than party affiliations. It is about changing the status quo, ending bad governance, and building a government that truly serves the people.

Come January 2027, I have no doubt that the people of the FCT will make their choice clear. We will choose SERVICE, NOT PROMISES.
