Meet Andy Larson, owner of Float Milwaukee located in Walker’s Point.⁠

Prior to being the proprietor of @floatmilwaukee, Andy had a career as a CPA. Overworked, exhausted, and looking for relief, he stumbled across a floatation center and booked his first session. That hour in the super-salinated, silent tank transformed his life. After studying float facilities across the country, his mission was clear: to make float therapy accessible to the widest range of people as a means of promoting calm, relief, and rest.⁠

Open since 2015, @floatmilwaukee provides float tanks and pools that give you a relaxing, spa-like environment for total rejuvenation of the mind and body. They also now offer NovoTHOR sessions involving the application of red infrared light to areas of pain, injury, or damage. The result is a photochemical reaction that promotes healing, improves flexibility, kickstarts circulation, and reduces inflammation at the cellular level.⁠

Gave roXiva aka the DMT alternative a try! Highly recommended for sensory seekers since bright, rapid strobe lights and music are involved. @floatmilwaukee gave me a quick intro session before, allowing me to choose light combos that balance relaxation and psychedelic experiences. Felt spinny for a bit afterward, but slept like a baby that night! DMT is a psychedelic linked to ego death, creativity, spirituality, feelings of "oneness", pain reduction, and near-death experience, and it occurs in small amounts naturally in the body. roXiva uses Wave Entertainment to give a similar experience in a drug-free setting, allowing you to stop or switch light patterns as you please.
