23 August 2024: Genesis turned 21!! 🥳🎉 We celebrated this momentous occasion in breathtaking Switzerland. Lugano Paradiso is indeed paradise and Morcote's beauty is etched in our hearts. What a memory for the books!

When I'm in spaces with artists and musicians I'm reminded — what a fortunate gift it is, to share one's art!

My song "Hear Her" was inspired by "Ginny & Georgia"
--
I just feel like you know nothing about me
But you write to me like you do
I just feel like
you know nothing of what i like
But you sit next to my silhouette too

I just feel like
You worry too much
Who cares in the way that you talk about yourself

As if you fell into the breaches of those in hell

I was reminded that creatives always find each other

Aren't we all a bit creative
.
.
I know you are:
from
how you move
enter
and describe our sky
using words like dragons, billowing and the color green.
How you sing your own tune unbeknownst to anyone.
How u add color to ur attire.
Or lack thereof.

Creative is a fight to aspire (to)
knowing our art makes us brighter, prettier, lighter when it's heavier all-round.
To Create is a shield as well as a healing balm.
It's to...
Decide.
To decide to:
play, paint, act, draw, sing,
imagine, music, dance, perform,
write, direct, knit, crochet, communicate
make, craft, impact, react
capture, reflect, share: emotions
design(s):
concepts/art/culinary dreams
build:
our fashion, our zeitgeist
have ingenuity
be:
silly, innovative, imaginative, artistic

be you!
to listen, to manifest and to be.
Or not to be.
To know we have the power to shape the world we live in.
It's knowing we have choice to engage in a healing art form for us.
We get to decide.

Knowing that
Is how we'll get through and how we'll get by.
So yeah, we're all a little creative
Next time, you're feeling alone

Riding into new adventures
Last year April whilst in Senegal, I got to ride an ATV for the first time! It was a delightful, riveting time. I enjoyed cruisin' the sandy dunes & breezin' through!
