Coming Saturday, October 24, the portal to Nooga will open at Oude Kerk.

Nooga is a new live audiovisual project by Amsterdam-based visual artist Tharim Cornelisse (@tharimcornelisse) and Delft-based sound artists W92 (@woodyninetytwo) and Floid (@floid.live).

Over the past years, the three have been working together through Omen Wapta (@omenwapta), an electronic music label exploring abstract symbols, invented words and psychedelic sounds.

Now, their collaborative practice takes on a new form inside the centuries-old Oude Kerk.

Inspired by the Genii Cucullati, a trio of hooded figures from antiquity, the project explores the interpretive possibilities of forgotten symbols. As Cornelisse explains: ‘What interested me about the image is that the forgotten meaning opens up a whole world of interpretation for the viewer to transpose onto it.’

For this debut, Cornelisse uses a circular camera rig to capture live perspectives within the church, while W92 and Floid perform an experimental electronic composition.

Het Amsterdamse Minimal Collective wil ruimte maken voor experimentele muziek. Tijdens ADE, wanneer overal in Amsterdam keihard gedanst wordt, slaat het collectief de handen ineen met de Oude Kerk (het oudste muziekpodium van Amsterdam!) voor een meerdaags programma vol ambient en elektro-akoestische muziek. Daar wordt de kerk, en de geschiedenis ervan, ingezet als instrument.

I’m excited to share that my @____podd____ x @on_boardmusic recording is out on @ute.rec

This mix represents me in my purest form. For a long time, I’ve been exploring new territories within my own musical spectrum, pushing beyond familiar boundaries and allowing myself to experiment without limitations.

This recording captures where I am creatively at this moment, and I’m excited to finally share it with you.

RESIDENT ANNOUNCEMENT | FLOID

With our hearts filled with joy, we can finally announce @floid.live as our latest PODD resident!

Floid is one of the reasons we fell in love with the faster-paced, deep and psychedelic sounds we like to push with PODD. Our first time at Omen Wapta had us hooked on the sound, and on this personality: a live-only DJ, with pure energy and joy behind the decks.

Besides the fact that we appreciate his productions a lot, Floid is just an amazing person. He’s full of humor, driven to work hard and a wonderful soul to be around. Whether you see him behind the decks or on the dance floor, he’ll always be walking around with a big smile. You can really see the joy and energy he gets from music, and that’s a beautiful personality trait. Very happy to officially welcome you brother, and very excited for all the moments together on-and off the dance floor❤️.

As Floid is a live-only DJ, all sets are different. Therefore, he likes to keep his sets mysterious and unavailable online, just as we do with our PODD productions: if you’re interested, you have to come see it for yourself. For the 9th of May, he has prepared a new approach for his set, as he’ll be playing not his usual closing slot.

Delft-based producer and digital sound artist Floid creates atmospheric, trip-like soundscapes driven by intuition rather than genre. His music unfolds in endless rhythms and evolving narratives, where surprising intervals elevate the whole experience. With deep-rooted psycho-pacing and nocturnal intensity, Floid’s work invites full sensory surrender. His approach transforms electronic music into a continuous, immersive journey.

Insanely proud to share the project Floid and I have been working on for the last 2 years. Many Friday mornings sitting down at our home studio, we shaped and sculpted this new born project together. ‘Dookuzot’ will be the first imprint that we want to share. It’s part of a larger series of various expressions that will be presented in different forms.

OW10 Floid & W92 - Dookuzot

How can the unfamiliar feel so close? Dookuzot, the debut EP by Floid and W92 (aka Woody92), invites listeners to venture into the echo chambers of the psyche on their Omen Wapta imprint. Like a salvaged coat of arms, this 8-track release weaves the cryptic motifs of the blood brothers into its sonic fabric, blending unease with ease through stealthy rhythms and dissonant harmonies. One a sonic visionary, the other a sound artist—together, they transform decades of shared family history into an imaginary realm of the mind.

Pensive yet commanding, Dookuzot unfolds like a labyrinth, where shadowy corridors give rise to textures, shapes, and fragments of memories that never existed. Are you the hunter, or are you being hunted? Neither tempo nor zeitgeist grounds the EP; instead, it conjures a citadel of sound—an intricate fortification of motion and stillness. Like a medieval quest, Dookuzot sends you into the wilderness, armed with arcane energy, urging you to explore the blurred lines between the familiar and the strange. Yet, as one absorbs the full story, a central motif emerges among the obscure artefacts: brotherhood—evoking a shared yet deeply personal ancestral resonance.

Cryptic, unnerving, and undeniably strange, Dookuzot doesn’t ask you to move—it compels you. With this debut, Floid and W92 draw you into their world, setting the stage for a vision that is both enthralling and forward-thinking.

A deeply rooted, close knit, mind channeling weekend is about to happen. Dreams REALLY come true. Seriously...

Floid started his musical journey some years ago. Seeing from very close how dedicated he is, shaping and sculpting his own musical signatures is something that gives me goosebumps and I can only deeply respect that. Numerous times in the studio together were the musical connection that took us to places. Sometimes judging music from your own brother is confronting and super difficult hehe, but the outcome of that is two insane releases which I’m insanely proud of, and there is way more to come.

Now.... After some years sharing the stage together and serving you a hybrid live show at the newborn festival per:sona on Friday and Saturday at the beloved Dekmantel Festival playing only music from Floid and us two together is the most surreal thing ever! And I’m deeply aware how special this is.

You’re my best friend Floid, musical interaction to the fullest, and the best brother I could wish for. It means the world to me performing with you. This is something I’ve dreamed of but never thought this would be actually happening.

Shoutout to Per:sona crew, Antoine & Charles for creating such a mad festival! And to the whole Dekmantel team, congratulations with your ten years and for always believing in me and us.

Nervousness hits, all over excitement but more than ready for this hypnotic ride!
