We are an official retailer of @floorbound_tx merchandise! Floorbound’s music is imbued with a sense of urgency that makes it both instantaneously accessible and incredibly infectious. Imagine the pop sensibility of The Used mixed with the melodic intensity of Thrice, and you begin to get an image of just a handful of the things they brings to the table. Floorbound, in one word, is rock. Energetic choruses have fans singing along before the end of their first listen and remain stuck in the heads of listeners for days.

In 2011 at Ivory Tower Studios in Houston, Tx, Rock-n-Roll magic was brewing. The boys of Floorbound had united once again to put our absolute best tuneage down onto the most professional of tools. Along with our spirit guides Chris Goodwin and Mike Thompson we conspired to uplift the masses through the wonderment of guitar, bass, and drums, and thus, “Take The Time” was born.

Now, it is a new day, but the time has come where you can all partake in this legendary goodness through the gift of online music services.

Now, go forth, and STREAM!!! 🙏🤘🫡🍻

Floorbound’s first EP, “Autumn Eyes” was written in 2004 and recorded in Early 2005 in San Antonio, TX in somebody’s abuela’s garage. Mike was the only one actually of legal drinking age, but that didn’t stop the rest of us much.

This EP holds a special place in our hearts as it showcases the youthful energy and burgeoning musical talents of 4 young dudes from Bay City, Tx, and with this in hand, we were able to start playing shows across Texas and the US, spreading the gospel of Floorbound to any who would willingly partake.

Today, we are announcing the first time release of these songs on all major streaming platforms(finally!), and we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who helped us out along the way. We think across these 5 tracks there will be something for everyone to enjoy, whether it’s the initial (pop?)punk stylings of “walking backwards”, “autumn eyes”, and “Summer ‘04”, or the more complex, hard rock tinged “track 17” and “Open Mouth, Closed Eyes”

Cheers to all you beautiful people, and thank you for listening. 🍻

2008 was a special year, filled with late nights at the Bay City Teen Center and loud weekends at Fitzgerald’s in Houston. The rock n roll dial was cranked all the way to 11! Our songs lived on MySpace, our friends and family filled every room we played. The people and the memories we made together are still with us today, and we are proud to announce that our 2008 EP “We Hold The Horizon” is now live on all major streaming platforms. Wherever you listen to music, you can take a little bit o Floorbound with you. Cheers to each and every one of you!!(and don’t worry, there will be more announcements soon!)
