Beyond Comfort Moving away from the familiar. Tailored silhouettes, handmade textures and hand-painted prints come together through a balance of structure, craft and instinct. Exposed threads and handmade loops create a personal interpretation of fur, allowing the making process to remain visible throughout the collection. An exploration of the tension between softness and control where comfort slowly begins to fade. — Design: @floorfolio_ Models: @juliaspeetjens @anoushka_bedi @yvoncornelissen69 Photography: @jarl.z #fashioncollection #fashiondesign #textiledesign #conceptualfashion #amfi by @floorfolio_

Beyond Comfort A collection exploring the space between familiarity and change. Each look reflects a different stage of stepping outside the comfort zone, moving from structure and security towards instinct, experimentation and expression. Hand-painted prints are translated into textiles, while exposed threads and handmade loops create a personal interpretation of fur. The collection balances craft with a clean, tailored silhouette bringing softness and structure together. An exploration of the tension between control and freedom. LOOK 03 — Beyond Comfort Familiarity begins to fade. The silhouette moves with more freedom, while the hand-painted print carries traces of the making process. Visible threads introduce an unfinished quality allowing craft and intuition to exist alongside one another. A quiet step away from certainty. — Design: @floorfolio_ Model: @anoushka_bedi Photography: @jarl.z #fashiondesign #textiledesign #printdesign #conceptualfashion #amfi by @floorfolio_
LOOK 03 — Beyond Comfort Stepping further away from the familiar. The hand-painted print becomes part of the body, translated into fabric while keeping its origin visible. Threads remain exposed, allowing craft to exist on the surface rather than being hidden. A shift towards instinct where control is no longer leading. LOOK 03 — Beyond Comfort A step beyond the familiar. This look marks a shift within the collection moving away from comfort towards exploration. The print is developed from a hand-painted surface, translated into fabric while preserving the trace of the hand. Threads are intentionally left visible, bringing craft to the surface as both structure and expression. A balance between control and intuition. LOOK 02 — Beyond Comfort A moment of transition. The fluid skirt remains grounded in familiarity, while the sculptural top shifts the body into a new posture. Volume creates tension at the front, while the back softens holding onto what feels known. This look exists in between: not fully outside the comfort zone, but no longer entirely within it. Clothing becomes a tool for change. DETAIL — LOOK 02 A subtle shift in expression. Caught between control and release, the face reflects the tension within the look. Not fully composed, not entirely undone. by @floorfolio_
LOOK 02 — Beyond Comfort A moment of transition. The fluid skirt remains connected to comfort and familiarity, while the sculptural top introduces a shift in posture. At the front, volume and form create tension; at the back, where the ruffles disappear, familiarity still lingers. This look captures an in-between stage within the collection not fully outside the comfort zone, but no longer entirely within it. Clothing becomes a tool for change, balancing security with the acceptance of the unfamiliar. LOOK 01 — Beyond Comfort A familiar silhouette, redefined through structure and proportion. An exploration of comfort and restraint where tailoring challenges the expected. Inspired by Phoebe Philo Design: @floorfolio_ Model: @yvoncornelissen69 Photography: @jarl.z by @floorfolio_
LOOK 01 — Beyond Comfort A closer look at the final piece. A familiar silhouette, grounded in structure reinterpreted through tailoring and precise detailing. The jort challenges comfort through proportion and construction, with bias tape, button placement, and carefully executed buttonholes defining the garment in subtle ways.
