More ALA Snow Halation!!! I felt SO cute in my first ever Nozomi cosplay. And when one of your favorite Colorado photogs comes to your fav out of state con and wants to shoot with you, you of COURSE take him up on it.

🪡❤️ SHAW !

I’m gonna try and not get too gushy in this post but—
Saturday of ALA was the masquerade. This was my first time competing in ANY competition, as well as my first time doing an entire cosplay build myself. I may have not come home with any prizes, but just being able to be on the stage in the first place and being able to present my work was a huge win in my heart of hearts ! ! That’s a win to me!!! Getting to meet so many amazing cosplayers and see so many incredibly well put together cosplays up close was amazing— again, that’s also a win to me!! A big thank you to all the staff and cosplayers who were comforting me and supporting me backstage, I was SO nervous about going first but everyone was so incredibly supportive and gave me the courage I needed!!!

I am also so incredibly grateful for the judges, after the show I got some amazing feedback and have never felt more inspired to keep crafting and doing this hobby that I love. It truly feels like my love for this hobby has returned, and I cannot wait to see where the future takes me! (And now that ive gotten a taste for competition, I DEF want to do it again mwhehehe….)

Thank you @ezraweisz for hosting, and thank you @jay_phoenix_cos for taking the photo on the cover!!!

And finally, thank you @anime_los_angeles for this opportunity, and hopefully I’ll see everyone again soon ❤️❤️
