I am still in awe from last Sunday! I cannot believe it! One whole year!!! I often get asked “so how did you start it all?”.
And it all started because I posted a TikTok …that turned into over 200 Dm’a and hundred of comments. That turned into an event @barcalapdx , where 30 people showed up! After that it was the start of our beautiful community that we have built!!!! Thank you to each of you who’s came to an event and continues to come!! You guys came into my life in a time where I REALLLY needed u girls and I’m so glad the universe gave me u beautiful souls 🥹❤️‍🩹🫂 Las amo and I can’t wait to see what this next year has for us!!! 😝✨

Huge thank you to all my vendors and sponsors who helped contribute the prizes !!

Meet your vendors for Saturday’s Barre To The Beat event!
Portland Primas was born at a time where our community was living in fear, Latino owned businesses were being affected, people were feeling lonely. I created Portland Primas to create a safe space for us Latinas, somewhere we could come together and laugh, share stories and even cry at times. At the same time a huge priority of mine was to support Latino owned businesses because I knew they were being affected by everything going on and unfortunately bills weren’t going to wait. Thanks to all of you we have been able to do that over the last 10 months so thank you! This wouldn’t be possible without each and every one of you supporting!
And although things seem to have “calmed down here” let’s not forget that our community in general is still being affected, stay informed, educate our loved ones and donate to organizations like PIRC @pirc_oregon if possible!
