Happy 14th Birthday to my twins, Blake & Boden! 🎉🎂 aka…Mammy “Mams” and Benoit/Richard Babson!

The “double hold” that I used to do every year is officially over—you two are just too big now. Somehow, though, the joy, fun, and love you bring into our lives only grows bigger with every passing year.

One of my favorite things is watching the beautiful mix of friends, laughter, smiles, and adventures that surrounds you both and the energy it brings to our home.

Boden—your sense of humor, kind heart, and sensitive, caring soul continue to amaze me. You were dubbed the “Peacemaker” back in kindergarten, and that title still fits you perfectly.

Blake—you are feisty, fun, strong, and determined. Tough on the outside, but with the softest heart underneath it all.

Both of you are humble, loving, independent and genuinely good humans with so much to give. I couldn’t be more proud to be your Mom. What a blessing you both are!

Your birthday always feels like the official kickoff to summer—sun-kissed faces, sandy toes, late nights, SoCal adventures with your cousins and friends, and more memories waiting to be made. 💦☀️🎉

Today l came home to a beautiful bouquet of flowers… Steve had ordered for me with the help of SIRI, a little help from the AI guru! Too many it may seem like nothing but to me it means a lot. Today we celebrated Our 55th Wedding Anniversary and while our life has changed over the years with health challenges it gives me reason to pause and reflect on how blessed I am. Yes, these days I’m his guide, his narrator, his driver and right hand gal.. but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Those vows that we made and exchanged on May 1st 1971 are still being honored and I am honored and proud to be his wife. Happy Anniversary, Steve.. 🥂🥰❤️ by @florencekleinjan

As we begin a New Year let us take a moment to remember all our friends and family who are no longer with us. 2023 was a year of great loss and destruction throughout our world. Many are waking up this morning with nothing … no food, no home NOTHING so as I begin my day I am thankful, grateful and truly as blessed as 2024 begins. May all who serve our Country to protect our freedoms be safe and if you are fortunate enough to be in the presence of one who has fought for our Country let them know they are appreciated.
