Giving my daughter a tour around her brain 🧠🌈🌸💕
It is safe to say that she approved it and loved it!!

The butterfly was also glued back in place and survived the attack.

I created this piece along a bigger brain (mine) for my show with @44point4 “NOW I KNOW WHAT NOTHING IS”

Come take a look from September 17th to November 1st at @artimageetespaceodyssee

UPCOMING EXHIBITION:
@florencia.paper

“Let me take care of you,
let me hug you,
let me show you
everything I have to make you very happy

I gift you my legs,
rest your head on them
I gift you my strengths,
use them when you have none

I gift you the pieces
that make up my soul,
may you never ever lack anything
I will love you until I die”

This snippet from Carla Morrison’s song “Te regalo” perfectly explains the unconditional love I have for my daughter. The “why” behind every decision and every sacrifice I’ve made since she was conceived.

The “Be Well” juice was one of our favourite from this series because of its lush colour palette and the variety of textures in the fruit. Here is how we came up with the concept and put it together!

I’m so excited to share part of the piece that I’ll be showing in my first exhibition with @44point4 “NOW I KNOW WHAT NOTHING IS”

Inspired and named after @carlamorrison song “Te regalo” with the help of @anatomy.app to do all of my research about the function of each lobe of the brain and to make a somewhat accurate model.

“Ojos verdes como mares” This paper eye is the mother and more detailed version of a small collection of eyes I created a few years ago. They were super popular so I knew I needed to turn them into a bigger piece. This eye is composed by many petal-like small pieces and each is decorated with fine figures drawn with acrylic paint and embossed details.

This original piece is available on my website! It is mounted on a 20x16” canvas, protected with a 3” deep acrylic box. by @florencia.paper

If you received one of these, THANK YOU. Last month was my 10TH ANNIVERSARY working with paper and I couldn’t have done it without you. 🥳🥳🥳Thank you to my parents that let me invade their dinning room for years, to my grandma that lended me a room when my parents got sick of my mess, to my siblings and friends for helping me countless times to meet client deadlines, to all of my amazing clients in Mexico, Canada and US for trusting my brain and my hands to make their vision come true, to my collectors for connecting with my art and all my loyal virtual friends and followers for cheering me on! And one last BIG BIG THANK YOU to my patient and fabulous husband that has got my back unconditionally in the last 7 years. I love you and I am so thankful for you 🦋 by @florencia.paper
