It's never to late to post about this year's international filmfestival in Las Palmas! @lpafilmfestival

Didn't see as much as I would have liked this year, but it was a pleasure nevertheless, as always. Starting off with an absolute classic that I had never seen on the big screen before - Apolcalypse Now FINAL CUT 🤩

I never miss the local short film session, this time with the bonus of a Q&A with the filmmakers which is always a lovely add-on.

Finished it off with Bi Gan's Resurrection. I was lucky enough to get a seat at the last minute after being no.13 on the waiting list. Got rewarded, though, with another insightful Q&A!

Und zu guter Letzt, danke @elise.kavena for making me look like a badass secretary and for being a great friend ❤️

Another great one, @lpafilmfestival ! THANK YOU. I just love the vibe it brings alongside all these amazing films.
I particularly enjoyed @steffenhaars and Flip van de Kuil's Krazy House, which was part of the NOCHE + FREAK category, as well as Meat Puppet. If you like to see something that challenges conventional storytelling, I recommennnnnd! It's some beautiful fucked up shit that made me laugh and cringe at the same time.
La proyección de cortos premiados was definitely worth a visit. Beautiful selection. My favorite was El cuento de una noche de verano by @herrmer .An absolute masterpiece and an outstanding performance. A tale about an abuse of power that is not obviously violent but actually so violent. This nuanced and subtle storytelling made me truly emotional. Another recommendation!

Can't wait for next year!! 💫❤️‍🔥 taken in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria by @florentine.behrend
