Hi!!👋 it’s Claire and Hunter, the owners of Florette

We are getting settled into this new venture and wanted to take a minute to introduce ourselves.

We are a husband and wife team with deep roots in the North Idaho area. Hunter is born and raised in Coeur d’Alene. A professional land surveyor by trade, Hunter is the product and design brain of the business. He loves experimenting in the kitchen and perfecting his honey cinnamon latte. This is probably the first and last time he will be okay having his picture online 🤩

Claire has been coming to Idaho since she was 10 days old and her fondest memories are on Lake Pend Orielle. She has a background in finance and worked on Wall Street before she was pulled to Idaho to continue growing @theburgerdock. She is known to make a spreadsheet or model for everything she does. If you’re interested in partnerships, marketing or any fun collabs, Claire is your gal!

We are super excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue the incredible legacy of Woops. We have the utmost gratitude for Shelly and the beautiful space and community she built. We know we have big shoes to fill and hope you all will continue to support us as we get to know our new community and share the fun things we have planned for the business!

A local’s favorite is now an all day cafe right in the heart of downtown Coeur d’Alene ☕️ > 🍷

The beloved Woops has transformed into Florette, turning from one set of locally owned and loved hands into another 🤍

A few things that make this spot unique:
☕️ European-style coffee and espresso
🥐 French macarons, pastries and unique sandwiches
🍷 Wine and beer in the evening
✨ Designed for slowing down, whether it’s a morning coffee or an evening glass

The Coeur d’Alene rebrand that EVERYONE is talking about!

Formerly WOOPS Bakery, now sits in downtown as @florettecda and boy do they have some incredible things in the works!

New owners Claire and Hunter are working tirelessly to give Florette a little makeover. This makeover may or may not include beer, wine, and later nights. I for one can’t wait for whatever they have cooking up.

And if you loved WOOPS don’t worry, all the pastries and macarons and there to STAY. Which means you can still get your huckleberry cream puff!

If you haven’t been in to Florette, make sure to stop by for some refreshing lemonade, delicious pastries, or a midday pick me up!
