Still can’t believe what happened last night! Just got back from a Flover production in the mountains when my friend @alekvmensvoort dropped by. He was after Atlantic salmon and headed out alone yesterday afternoon. A while later, my phone rings: “You’ve got to come, I just caught my first salmon!”
I was hesitant… it had been pouring rain all day, and I still had to pack for a two-week production starting today. But I grabbed my rod and joined him for a quick evening session. And sometimes the best things happen when you least expect them.
In the strong current, a big salmon took my favourite spoon, the legendary ”Møresilda” from @rapalaeurope and the fight was unreal. My hands were shaking, but luckily everything went perfectly. 🙏🏼
After a quick photo, we sent this monster back into the river. Big thanks to Alek for talking me into this dream fish! 🙌🏼❤️ by @florian_over

Coming Sunday, 18:00.
Survival Mission – Swedish Lapland was for sure my toughest adventure of 2025.
In beginning I was not feeling this trip at all, and dealt with anxiety around it. But nothing beats the feeling of pushing through the mental game, and now I’m excited for you to see this.

The big Atlantic salmon I caught two weeks ago was definitely the highlight of my fishing season, but August also turned into 17 days out filming two major projects. First a solo national park crossing chasing arctic trout, then a 10-day production for @nays_baits and @boatside_fishing 🎣🎥 Intense weeks, but loads of fun!

Right now I’m heading out on the last hiking trip of this summer season, and I’m excited to see how this challenge turns out 🥾🏔️ by @florian_over
