RIEN N’EST FIGÉ On n’a pas dessiné un mobilier. On a dessiné un système avec ce qui restait de ce que l’on a enlevé. Tout s’adapte, tout peut évoluer avec les contenus. Mais surtout, on a changé la manière de faire. Plus d’adhésifs. Plus de systèmes aimantés jetables. Les supports sont conçus pour intégrer des cartons alvéolaires imprimés, facilement remplaçables. Moins de déchets. Moins de matière. Plus de souplesse. NOTHING IS FIXED We did not design a piece of furniture. We designed a system. Everything adapts. Everything can evolve with the content. But above all, we changed the way things are done. No more adhesives. No more disposable magnetic systems. The displays are designed to integrate printed honeycomb cardboard panels that can be replaced with ease. Less waste. Less material. LES ATELIERS D’ART DU GRAND PALAIS RMN AU COEUR DU LOUVRE Moulages, chalcographies — des pièces « uniques », issues d’un savoir-faire précis et exigeant. La lumière y change, comme un lien direct avec les ateliers où ils sont produits. Les objets ne sont plus seulement exposés, ils gardent une trace de leur fabrication. The RMN Workshops at the heart of the Louvre Cast reproductions, chalcographies—“unique” pieces born from precise and demanding craftsmanship. The light changes here, creating a direct connection with the workshops where they are made. DU NOIR POUR ECLAIRER ! On a ajouté du noir, beaucoup de noir, pas pour faire « joli », pas pour faire « luxe », mais pour regarder. Comme autour de la Joconde, il agit en négatif, et tout le reste apparaît. LA DERNIÈRE PIÈCE DU MUSÉE “Renaissance” de la Librairie-Boutique du @museelouvre Jusqu’ici, elle était un peu entre deux. Entre musée et espace commercial du carrousel, entre fin de visite et début du reste. Pas très confortable. Le projet part de là, comment faire du Louvre… du Louvre, ici aussi ? À la croisée du musée et du Carrousel, cet espace historique conçu par l’architecte Ieoh Ming Pei était devenu difficile à lire. Avec le Grand Palais RMN, nous avons engagé une transformation en profondeur. Faire de la librairie-boutique un espace pleinement Louvre. Reagencement, relamping, réemploi, un projet a la gomme et au surligneur noir. Between the museum and the Carrousel’s retail area, between the end of the visit and the beginning of everything else. Not the most comfortable place to be. The projectstarted from this question: how can we make the Louvre… truly the Louvre, here as well? At the intersection of the museum and the Carrousel, this historic space designed by the architecture of Ieoh Ming Pei had become difficult to read. Together with GrandPalaisRmn, we undertook a profound transformation.
