🐾 Nonprofit Veterinary Practice Providing Affordable Basic Pet Healthcare to Central Florida for more than 35 years! 🩺💉💕

POSTS STORIES REELS

🥂🏆 37 YEARS OF CARING. TWO CLINICS. ONE SHARED MISSION. 🧡🐾

We’re celebrating something truly special! 🎉 Florida Aid to Animals has been named a Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave in the Veterinarian category every year since joining the online community in 2017! That’s 10 consecutive years of recognition from our neighbors who know us best.

While we’re celebrating this milestone, we’re also celebrating something even bigger: what we can accomplish when a community comes together for pets.

For 37 years, Florida Aid to Animals has worked to make essential veterinary care more accessible. Because we know that when pets have access to preventive care, vaccines, parasite prevention, spay and neuter services, and other essential healthcare, we change what happens next. 🐶🐱✨ Prevention makes a difference. Access changes outcomes. And community makes it possible.

When we help pets stay healthier, we can help prevent problems before they become crises. When families can access essential veterinary services and products, we can help reduce the number of animals entering already burdened shelters. And when neighbors support organizations working toward these goals, the impact reaches far beyond the walls of our clinics.

It takes a community. Every appointment, every kind word, every recommendation to a friend, and every show of support helps us continue this mission.

To our clients, neighbors, supporters, and incredible veterinary team: THANK YOU for being part of our story. Thank you for trusting us with your beloved family members and for believing that every pet deserves access to care.

Here’s to 37 years of service, 10 consecutive years of Neighborhood Faves, 2 clinic locations, and a future where more pets stay healthy, more families get the support they need, and fewer animals end up in shelters simply because essential care was out of reach.

Together, we can change what happens next.
🌈🐾

With gratitude,
Your Florida Aid to Animals Family

The world has lost an extraordinary talent, and, it has lost a compassionate advocate who dedicated his voice to those too often overlooked.

Sir Patrick Stewart will be remembered for his remarkable career on stage and screen, but the legacy that resonates deeply within all of us is the kindness he extended far beyond the spotlight. 👇

Together with his wife, Sunny, Patrick became a champion for pit bulls, fostering dogs and speaking out against the stereotypes that have unfairly followed them for generations. What made his advocacy especially powerful was his honesty. He openly shared that he once believed many of those same misconceptions himself.

Then he took the time to learn.

He opened his heart.

And he changed his perspective.

That willingness to listen, grow, and lead with compassion inspired countless others to do the same. 🐾

Patrick also became a passionate advocate for survivors of domestic violence, drawing from his own experiences and using his platform to shine a light on difficult conversations that matter. He understood that true compassion means standing beside those who are hurting, whether they have two legs or four.

At Florida Aid to Animals, we believe every life deserves dignity, care, and a chance to be understood. Sir Patrick embodied those values. He reminded us that labels never tell the whole story, that kindness can challenge prejudice, and that empathy has the power to transform lives.

His life was a testament to the idea that growth is not weakness. Changing your mind when presented with truth is an act of courage. Choosing compassion over judgment is an act of strength.

Today, we honor not only an accomplished actor, but a man who used his influence to create a kinder world for animals and people alike.

Thank you, Sir Patrick Stewart, for standing in the corner of the misunderstood, for lending your voice to those who needed one, and for showing us that compassion is one of the greatest legacies a person can leave behind.

Rest peacefully, Sir Patrick. Your kindness lives on in every heart you've touched and every life you've helped change. ❤️🐾

"Make it so."

❤️ Keeping pets healthy and staying healthy together! 🏃‍♀️🐾**

When your very pregnant Melbourne Clinic Manager asks the team to join her for a 5K... you show up! 💪

At Florida Aid to Animals, we're passionate about helping pets live longer, healthier lives, and we believe taking care of ourselves is important too. This weekend, many from our Melbourne team traded scrubs for running shoes and came together for a fun night of fitness, encouragement, and teamwork.

We're so proud of everyone who participated, and this PR Manager was happy to be there cheering on our FATA family at the finish line with beverages! 🎉

A special thank you to @runningzonefl for hosting another wicked great event and giving our team the opportunity to get active together. ❤️

Healthy pets. Healthy people. Stronger communities. That's what we're all about.

👻🎃 GOOD FRIENDS, GREAT COMMUNITY & A LITTLE SPOOKY FUN! 🐾

👇 Be honest… who on YOUR team would be screaming the loudest on the Haunted Trail? 😂🎃

After a long Friday of caring for your pets and serving our community at Florida Aid to Animals Melbourne clinic, last night our Melbourne team traded their scrubs for screams, laughs, and Halloween frights at the Brevard County Jail Haunted Trail! 😱💀

❤️ At Florida Aid to Animals, we actually LOVE our coworkers! And when you work alongside people who become friends, the tough days feel a little lighter, the wins feel even bigger, and the work we do for our community becomes that much more rewarding.

We work hard, support each other, and believe in one shared mission. 🐾❤️

A HUGE SHOUT-OUT to the entire Brevard County Sheriff's Office Brevard County Sheriff's Office, Florida (Official) for an incredible night and such a fantastic experience! Thank you for all you do for our community! 🙌 Our Melbourne crew had an absolute BLAST — and we're pretty sure this is one of the BEST haunted trails around! 👏👻

We're proud to care for Brevard County's pets, proud of our team, and grateful to be part of such an amazing community!

📦 If I Fits, I Sits... and If I Don't, I Still Sits. 📦
Ahhh, a box. The simple things in life are often the best... and cats have known that forever. ❤️

You can spend hundreds on cat trees, cozy beds, and fancy toys, but the moment a cardboard box appears, it instantly becomes:

🐾 A castle
🐾 A hunting blind
🐾 A nap pod
🐾 A five-star luxury suite
🐾 The most valuable real estate in the house

Whether they're pouncing from inside, peeking through a tiny opening, or proudly claiming ownership of your last #Amazon delivery, cats somehow turn every box into a masterpiece of happiness.

Show us your cat in a box! 👇📸

Share your photos in the comments. We want to see:
📦 Tiny boxes
📦 Giant boxes
📦 Amazon boxes
📦 "There's absolutely no way that cat fits in there" boxes
**Bonus points for cats that look like they pay rent on their box. 😂❤️

Let's fill the comments with cardboard condos, feline fortresses, and professional box inspectors!
