Emelina just became the world’s first Cuban restaurant ever to earn a Michelin Star, and the first Michelin-Starred restaurant in The Palm Beaches.

The 16-seat tasting-menu restaurant in West Palm Beach’s historic Flamingo Park District, led by husband-and-wife chefs Osmel González and Camila Salazar, has just earned Michelin-Star status today at the 2026 Michelin Guide Florida ceremony — becoming the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Palm Beach County.

The recognition arrives less than four months after the restaurant’s February debut, with a menu that doesn’t reproduce familiar Cuban dishes but speculates, asking what Cuban food might have become with freedom, global exchange, and modern technique.

Four Seasons has officially opened Naples Beach Club, a 125-acre Gulffront resort that marks one of the most significant hospitality debuts in Southwest Florida.

Set on 1,000 feet of white-sand shoreline in the heart of Old Naples, the new coastal retreat introduces 220 rooms and suites, five dining concepts, a 30,000-square-foot spa, racquet facilities, and Market Square, a vibrant town center.

The Beach Club is also rolling out 153 luxury residences and a Tom Fazio–designed 18-hole course, The Gardens, in partnership with Discovery Land Company and developed by The Athens Group, debuting in 2026.

The team behind Mary Lou’s has just unveiled two original concepts for West Palm Beach’s buzzing new Nora District — Macs 44, a nightly performance salon, and Lillys, a rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool at the highly anticipated Nora Hotel, which is making its official debut October 19.

Macs 44 makes the show the main event, with music, vocal performance, choreography and theatrical entertainment programmed every night and a liquor locker keeping regulars’ bottles on property. Lillys runs as three experiences under one name, Lillys Pool by day, Bar Lilly for cocktails at sunset, and Cafe Lilly, a full-service restaurant developed with Starr Restaurants.

Lillys opens next month on the roof of The Nora Hotel, with Macs 44 following in December. These two concepts take the group from one venue in the city to three, which has since expanded to Montauk and Miami, alongside activations at Formula 1, Coachella and Art Basel.

Imoto, Clay Conley's Palm Beach favorite, has officially opened in Coral Gables, its first location anywhere outside Palm Beach, right next door to Buccan on Miracle Mile.

The little sister to Buccan runs on the same idea as the original: small plates and big flavors drawing on Japanese and Asian influences built around seasonal ingredients. Conley, a seven-time James Beard Award nominee, now has a trio of Ember Group concepts on the block alongside Buccan Miracle Mile and the viral Buccan Sandwich Shop.

A large neighborhood market is officially coming to Midtown Miami this fall after landing Major Food Group as a founding investor — marking the first investment the group behind Carbone, Sadelle's and The Grill has ever made outside its own operations and its first in grocery.

Founded by Miami entrepreneur Danielle Axman, the market will bring a full grocery with a café and a prepared foods kitchen run by Grassfed Culture, the Michelin-starred team behind Los Félix and Krüs Kitchen.

Ponce Circle Park, Coral Gables' civic gathering place since the 1920s, has just officially unveiled a $10 million redesign, the most comprehensive in its history, anchored by a posthumous installation of one of Frank Stella's final large-scale works.

A monumental polished aluminum sculpture will stand in a reflecting pool at the north end, with an open-air stage called the Odeon, inspired by the Pantheon in Rome, at the center, carrying concerts, theater and fitness classes year-round.

Directly across the street, Allen Morris Co.'s 58-residence Ponce Park is already under construction, set to finish within months of the park's reopening.

Porsche Design Concours, a new category of privately owned automobile studios built around a members-only Clubhouse, has just recently been unveiled, with West Palm Beach and Dallas the first two cities to get one.

The West Palm Beach venue holds 22 deeded studios where an owner can work in the morning, rest in the afternoon, and host friends by evening, each opening onto The Concours, an interior automotive collection promenade. The Clubhouse layers in padel, a spa, dining, lounges and coworking.

The studios will be sold by invitation only, with both cities positioned as the first chapter of a growing network.

A Pasta Bar, the SoHo restaurant that built a following on handmade pasta and an open kitchen, is officially coming to Sunset Harbour this month, its first location outside New York since the original opened in 2017.

Alessandro Pasquale, who designed the New York original, built the Miami Beach room around a freestanding open kitchen so the pasta lab stays in view from every seat. A daily pasta lab turns out limited-run shapes like Pink Salmon Culurgiones and Green Casoncelli, with a five-course pasta tasting designed for two, for anyone who wants the full progression.
