Polestar Concept RR

RR stands for rundresa. Going on a trip or going around a racetrack. With the Concept RR you can do both.
Up until now, supercars were mostly compromised two seaters, which offered very little interior space. This can change with the new generation of electric cars. The cab-forward design with a long wheelbase allows the Concept RR to comfortably fit four adults while maintaining supercar proportions. In addition, the hatchback gives easy access to the luggage compartment.
This makes for a true Polestar performance car that can be experienced together with family and friends. Everyday.
The Concept RR takes inspiration from 70’s supercars and the legendary Volvo 480. Combined with the modern Polestar form language, my aim was to create a retrofuturistic design which remains elgant and clear – instantly recognisable as a Polestar.
As a special feature, the Concept RR has an integrated com- partment for two electric monowheels in the back. There they get charged with electricity form the solar roof and are ready to transport you in the last mile.
