The blessing comes when you no longer have to pretend.

You’d be surprised how dope you really are when you stop pretending for social media.

You are human and yes humans make mistakes. They have feelings. They love. They hate. They hurt. They get jealous. They get used. They use people. They are influenced and influence. They struggle. They succeed. They experience heartbreak and they break hearts.

Honestly none of us are perfect and we’ve all experienced the good and the bad. It’s apart of living life and if you haven’t lived on both sides of the stick, have you truly lived life?

Basically, What I’m saying is stop letting social media dictate how you live life. I know the saying is fake it til you make it but don’t go through your entire life faking it and never ending up making it to where you’re meant to be.

Material ish means nothing when your soul yearns for things social media can’t give you.

Some people will never meet me.🌻

They’ll only meet the version of me their expectations or imagination demanded.

Some of yall come with timelines and standards yall took from people yall never even met.
 No patience or room for discovery
Just a bunch of conclusions.

And that’s the tragedy of our generation.

Yall forgot that people have
many layers of them to unfold.
Character takes time. Trust is earned.
 Don’t even know that some of the most beautiful souls (me) don’t introduce themselves in the first conversation.

Social media taught yall to consume people, not to get to know them.

So yall walk away from gardens because they weren’t already in bloom.
Or throw away real plants for ones that
come already polished and don’t need watering… 🌻💞

I’m exactly who I think am and I always have been.

Ive always understood the depth that comes with me, even when others didn’t understand.

Yesterday marked the day of new beginnings.
Signed away the uncertainty, returned the borrowed worry, and accepted a set of keys that unlocked more than a door.
Not every blessing comes with fireworks. Some arrive with signatures, empty rooms, and enough peace to finally hear yourself again.

I literally had the roughest two weeks of my life. I still showed up for myself and for others…

Shout out to my support system because we sometimes forget about the people who come through for us even in the smallest ways.
