Behind the scenes of The Last Outlaw. The experience was so rewarding as we watched Director Carl Flood, the cast and crew give each moment all they had.

When Troy had his back surgery, I inherited a few of the household duties he normally handles.

One of those duties is retrieving Wall-E here from the pool after he finishes his cleaning cycle.

Until today, Wall-E and I had what I thought was a perfectly professional working relationship.

This morning, however, he chose violence.

As I was pulling him out of the water, he apparently decided he was NOT finished with his day and refused to shut off like he normally does. Instead, he latched onto my dress with a level of determination and aggression I frankly did not know a pool vacuum was capable of.

There I stood, wrestling a wet robot in my backyard while he attempted to eat my clothing.

So, if you happened to hear me fussing loudly at someone from my backyard this morning, please know that I was not arguing with Troy, a neighbor, or an unruly animal.

I was in a heated dispute with the pool vacuum.

And I was MAD.

Not only did Wall-E gobble up a respectable amount of my dress, but he also managed to soak it in the process, which just felt unnecessarily rude.

I suppose not everyone can say they were attacked by their robot pool cleaner before breakfast, so at least I got a story out of it.

Wall-E and I are currently not speaking.
