What a week.
From day one froth to full-blown progression mode, this camp delivered everything we’re about — good people, heavy laughs, and next-level riding.
We scored a mix of conditions that kept everyone on their toes. Light wind sessions turned into high energy sessions, while the punchier days pushed limits and built serious confidence across the crew. Wipes were had (plenty), but so were breakthroughs — longer runs, cleaner turns, and that magic feeling when it all clicks.
Off the water, the vibe was just as strong. Early mornings, sunset debriefs, gear chats, and the kind of banter that turns a group into a proper crew. Everyone showed up, backed each other, and brought the energy all week.
Massive progression across the board — from first flights to dialing in style and flow. That’s what it’s all about.
Big love to everyone who came along and made it what it was 🤙

Week 1 Recap — Foilbrained x Flowfoiling Camp in collaboration with Sanur surf 🌊🔥
Week one in the books and what a ride it’s been…

The crew came together instantly. Different backgrounds, same mission — have a laugh, push limits, and spend as much time in the water as possible. Between sessions it was poolside theory, gear chats, and a fair bit of banter that probably shouldn’t be repeated 😅
We mixed in a taste of the local culture too — from beach ceremonies to sunset hangs, slowing things down just enough to soak it all in before getting straight back to the grind.
Highlights?
• First proper flights (and the celebrations that followed)
• Dialling in gear and finding that sweet setup
• Sharing waves and pushing each other to go further
• That perfect mix of chaos and flow that makes camps like this what they are
Safe to say… the froth levels are high and we’re only just getting started.

The original watermelon Flow foiling jersey still going strong. Has a slight grey tint now but this has been worn almost everyday for 3 years by my boy @ariiksangging taken in Bali, Indonesia by @flowfoiling

First session back at the point and my new foil was on point! Thanks @liftfoilsaustralia for the new Vario 90 (580cm) was sick out there.

A month of this is a great way to start my retirement 🤣
