Sometimes you get to print fun shop shirts on the weekend. Here's my take on a cool trilobal screen print.

This technique provides a color changing effect from different angles by splitting each dot into three colors. The real magic come from the puff base layer giving the three colors dimension.

For a more drastic effect I would use 5mm dots on a solid image or if your design is broken up like this one go with a smaller dot.

This is an example of a fun split fountain.

A split fountain is a screen printing technique where two or more ink colors are placed on the same screen and blend together as you print, creating a unique gradient effect. This is different from a gradient done with halftones in the art creation process. With a split fountain the inks mix naturally and every print can be slightly different making each shirt special.
