Vienna update: Building a new life is exciting and exhausting in so many ways……talk about invigorating the soul 😓😎🙏

Slowly getting our routine under way……

1st week of school is done and was a success for my 2 brave souls. New friends, languages (they’re learning 4 now 😓) and building independence as they take themselves home on the tram now 🚋 Proud Mama 🫶🫶

We’ve welcomed two little bunnies, Hazelnut and Floppy into our lives 🐰🐰 They are fun and very cute 😓🤪

I’ve also been busy finding a Yoga studio, a beautiful bakery (sourdough lover), learning German (😓😓😓) and getting well acquainted with our little district - loving exploring by both foot and public transport (still such a novelty 😎)

We’re spending hours on the phone with Papi 📳@oliver.dornbusch as we miss him so much…..but we see him again in just a few days, count down is on! 😍🙏🎉

Let’s see what the next week’s bring 💪🫶😎🥰😅

Hundreds of hellos, too many goodbyes, you may have been born as cousins but life has made you more like sisters and I love watching you both grow and bloom into besties 💕🫶💕

Servus aus Wien 🇦🇹

A little update from our first few weeks in Vienna 🇦🇹✨

We’re slowly settling into our new life here, and whilst we’re obviously still finding our feet I have to say… I’m so happy about the little life we’re creating. There’s something really special about the slower pace, the beautiful surroundings, discovering new places, and all the little everyday moments that are beginning to feel familiar - like taking the tram 🚋

The children are settling in well, although I think we’re all starting to feel the anticipation of the new school beginning. New school, new routines, new friendships… and, of course, a whole new language environment (that’s from my side 🤪). I’m excited for them, but also feeling all the normal nerves that come with such a big change…..

There have definitely been moments of overwhelm 🤪😓😅😳@oliver.dornbusch , but also so many moments of excitement and gratitude. Papi is traveling back and forth a lot already and we’re so grateful he’s been able to assist and share all the beginnings with us 🙏

We’re just a few weeks in but so far, so good.

So many lasts these days……last classes with Yogis, goodbyes, parties with friends, celebrations and memories to treasure…..and with 5 days remaining still, more to come. I’m trying so hard not to see this as a farewell but more as an honoring of how much we’ve grown in this wonderful city #dubai🇦🇪 , how many wonderful people we’ve added to our friendship group and how many more memories we’ll create together in the future…..but it’s hard.
