Large commercial accounts saw property premiums fall about 2.7 percent in the first half of 2026. Small business accounts went up about 1.1 percent. In Florida, where commercial rates already run 30 to 40 percent above national averages, that gap has a real dollar cost.

Commercial auto is up 5 to 10 percent. Group health is up 11 to 12 percent. Meanwhile workers compensation rates dropped after a 6.9 percent average decrease was approved, and most owners never asked whether it applied to them.

The fastest way to know if your number is fair is not a quoting tool. It is another Florida owner in your industry who renewed last quarter and will tell you what they actually paid. That information moves through relationships, not advertising.
